C’est vers l’âge de 10 ans que l’idée m’est venue d’aller vers un métier où je me mettrais au service des personnes en difficulté pour les accompagner, les soutenir vers un mieux-être.

L’élan d’aller à la rencontre de l’être humain dans sa diversité ne m’a depuis jamais quitté.

J’ai obtenu un bachelier d’assistante sociale et me suis formée durant 4 années à l’approche systémique aux cotés de Monsieur Mony ELKAIM entre autres.

Forte d’une longue expérience de 17 années à l’aide à la jeunesse, j’ai pu accompagner, soutenir des enfants et leur famille dans différentes épreuves de la vie telles que les deuils, les séparations, les conflits, les violences intrafamiliales, les négligences.

Créer des ponts et des balises autour de l’enfant, de sa famille et de ses différents milieux de vie a été au centre de mes préoccupations (écoles, institutions, hôpitaux, familles d’accueil,…)

Veillez à ce que chaque membre de la famille trouve sa juste place est une part importante de mon travail.

Je n’aurais pas pu faire cette belle et enrichissante expérience sans des formations continuées tant dans le secteur de l’aide à la jeunesse (questions de maltraitances) que du développement personnel et des différentes approches pour accompagner au mieux les familles.

Why see a psychologist? Throughout our lives, we are confronted with numerous difficulties that can arise at a personal, relational and/or professional level. It can happen that we feel overwhelmed and powerless in the face of these difficulties, and in such cases it can be beneficial to consult a psychologist. Consulting a psychologist can also be a way of working on yourself and getting to know yourself better. Being accompanied by a professional gives you an outside perspective and helps to identify and work on recurrent patterns in your life. I offer individual consultations in French, Dutch or English. An initial contact will enable us to get to know each other and to define your needs and objectives together. Then, a therapeutic follow-up can be set up to pursue these objectives.

Licensed clinical psychologist for children, adolescents and families. I hold a bachelor's degree in psychology from Lewis & Clark College (Portland, OR, USA) and a master's degree in clinical psychology and psychopathology from the Université libre de Bruxelles (Brussels, Belgium). I am in the process of obtaining an additional master's degree in neuropsychology and am training in family and systemic psychotherapy. I offer individual, couple or family follow-up on Monday mornings in Mérode and Thursday afternoons/evenings in Messidor. I also offer consultations at home or by videoconference in certain cases individuals (perinatal care, reduced mobility, hospitalization, etc.) Consultations in French and English, by appointment. I adopt an integrative approach to psychotherapy drawing on different trends including psychoanalysis, systemics and person-centered humanist therapies. The proposed follow-up is co-constructed between the patients and myself in the most human, caring way and adapted to the specific needs of people. A place where everything can be heard, everything can be said, where you can be surprised. By allowing you to put words, we mobilize your resources to try to open paths towards greater autonomy and adaptation. Trained in CBT, I specialize in anxiety, mood, OCD, panic, bipolar, and psychotic disorders. Employing a warm, collaborative approach, I aim to equip you with the necessary tools for long-term mental well-being.
