Having worked in Latin America and practicing with expatriates, I attach particular importance to language, which can bring valuable subtleties to the therapeutic work. I receive clients at the Mimosa Center in Brussels on Mondays and Saturdays for individual, family or couple counselling. My consultations are aimed at teenagers, adults and elderly people to whom I offer home follow-ups if necessary. During my studies in Psychology at the University of Liege, I was mainly interested in cognitive and behavioral psychology as well as in neuropsychology. These studies now form the basis of my practice with an adult population. Afterwards, while working, I continued to learn and train. Among others, I continued to learn about motivational interviewing, ACT therapy, mindfulness, psycho-education, ... As for my professional career, after several years of expertise for the justice system and work on addictions as a psychologist, my skills as a neuropsychologist have allowed me to focus on supporting people suffering from Alzheimer's disease (or another disease of the same type) as well as their loved ones and professionals in the field. At present, with the benefit of these varied experiences, I can offer you a tailor-made accompaniment, according to your needs. As a clinical psychologist with a degree from the ULB, I offer a caring and reassuring framework to accompany any person experiencing discomfort, questions or symptoms. Although my approach is mainly analytical, I consider the treatment as an active collaboration between the psychologist and the consultant. Thus, I sometimes use concepts and tools from other approaches (systemic and ttc) in order to adapt my practice to the individuality of the person. I receive teenagers and adults individually for 45 minutes, either for a one-time meeting or for a long-term follow-up.
