Psychologists for Children's consultation

As a psychologist, my approach is mainly based on individual contact with the person in difficulty, the interview and the in-depth examination of his/her situation and problems. Therapeutic solutions are then discussed with the person. The aim of the therapy is to make the patient aware of the problem(s) as quickly as possible and then to start a therapeutic process. Psychotherapy, support and counselling are exclusively individual. Psychotherapy on the theme of postnatal depression is offered in individual consultation or in group therapy. Discussion groups are offered to adolescents and their parents on the subject of school bullying.

As a clinical psychologist with a specialization in child, adolescent, and family psychology, I place significant emphasis on understanding the environments in which my patients navigate and their relationships with those around them. I prioritize compassion, attentive listening, and respecting each individual's pace. I am constantly seeking to learn and professionally develop, engaging in ongoing training to enhance my skills and bring positive changes to the lives of my patients. "There are no problems, only solutions." My primary goal is to actively involve the child, adolescent, or young adult in their own therapy. I create a safe and tailored space for each patient, where everyone feels heard and understood. My approach is personalized, recognizing the uniqueness of each individual I encounter. I work hand in hand with my patients, no matter how young they may be, to find practical solutions, break limiting thought patterns, and develop concrete skills for a more fulfilling life. Psychologue clinicienne diplômée de l’université Libre de Bruxelles, agréée par la Commission des Psychologues et détentrice du visa clinicien, je suis spécialisée dans le suivi d’enfants, d’adolescents et de familles. 

J’accompagne les jeunes et/ou leurs familles à retrouver de la créativité et du mouvement lorsqu’il est devenu difficile de bouger et de se penser. Mon orientation est systémique mais j’utilise aussi des outils d’autres courants et disciplines comme la psychologie humaniste, la gestalt, la TCC, le dessin ou encore le théâtre. 

Grâce à mes diverses formations et expériences professionnelles, j’ai approfondi mes connaissances sur :

– La neuroatypie (TSA, TDA/H, HP, etc) ; 

– Les troubles psychotiques ;

– Les troubles anxieux ;

– Les troubles de l’humeur ;

– Les problèmes relationnels (liés à la famille, au milieu scolaire…).
