In the medical world, we call this "prevention". We start by making sure that you are up to date on your vaccinations and any screening that may be required (e.g. breast, colon or prostate cancer). Solutions will be found together so that you can live the healthiest life possible by addressing topics such as a balanced diet, smoking and alcohol cessation, and sports activities. Prevention can be found in a multitude of other forms that depend on each patient: contraception, risks related to the presence of pesticides and endocrine disruptors, maintaining the elderly at home, ... Another important aspect of prevention is that I am continually training in medicine to ensure the rational use of drugs and medical imaging. Finally, I attach great importance to the patient being an actor of his health. Indeed, a patient who is well informed about his disease and his treatments will take better care of himself.
