Diplômée en psychologie en 2001 à l'UCL, je me suis d'abord formée à la psychothérapie avec les enfants puis à l'accompagnement des tout-petits (0 - 3 ans). Rencontrer un enfant ne se fait pas sans écouter, et parfois accompagner, ceux qui l'entourent et l'aident à grandir. Progressivement, je me suis donc également formée à travailler avec des adultes, parents ou pas. Aujourd'hui, je reçois tous ceux, petits et grands, qui à un moment de leur vie rencontrent une difficulté, s'interrogent ou sont en souffrance.

Psychologue clinicienne orientée par la psychanalyse, je vous propose un espace, un temps et un lieu qui vous sont dédiés : 

Un espace consacré à l’écoute de ce que vous dites dans le respect, le non jugement et la confidentialité.

Un temps à part et à vous.

Un lieu sûr pour déposer vos expériences de vie, vos souffrances, vos questionnements et où votre parole peut se déployer librement.

Vous pouvez être amené.e à consulter parce que vous faites l’expérience de difficultés relationnelles, de schémas qui se répètent, de changements, de rupture(s), d’un mal-être diffus… Cela peut être aussi l’envie d’entamer un travail d’approfondissement sur votre façon d’être au monde, afin d’avoir une vision plus claire et nuancée de ce que vous traversez. 

Ici pas d’étiquettes mais la prise en compte de votre singularité, autrement dit ce qui fait de vous qui vous êtes. Je vous accueille et vous accompagne dans vos cheminements et dans la mise en mots de votre vécu et ce, à votre rythme.

My clinical training began as an intern in clinical psychology at the psychiatric unit within "Hospital General de Agudos Dr. Teodoro Alvarez" (Buenos Aires, 4years), ending up as Instructor of interns (1 year). Along the following decades, I've been working in the private medical health sector (+10 years) I consider continuous training as the basis of my clinical performance being my practice oriented by evidence-based approaches, such as cognitive behavioral treatments (CBT), and neuropsychology applied to mental health problems. During the meetings, a central place is given to defining problems, goals and approaches. As a team of work both client and therapist, work collaboratively with an active participation in the process. I´m a native Spanish speaker. I speak English as a second language and french as a third language. Conventionné.

Monique Defurnaux is a clinical psychologist and is currently training in humanistic psychotherapy. She welcomes you on Mondays and Fridays from 4:30 to 8:30 pm at the Centre médical Corps-Santé, Gembloux. She listens to her patients and will take care of each case with interest and benevolence.

I'm a psychologist graduated from the Catholic University of Louvain. I spent more than 10 years in the business world where I had the opportunity to observe people facing change, conflict situations, burnout and the desire for professional retraining. I was also interested in the dynamics that exist between hierarchical superiors, employees as well as that of colleagues among themselves. ​ Today, in addition to my Master's degree in psychology, I am a certified coach and I support you in requests such as: ​ 1. The management of relations at work; which affect colleagues, superiors, your employees or any other actor in this environment. 2. Change management; in your social, family, professional or private life, 3. Life coaching; in order to reconnect with yourself, your passions, your identity. 4.
