Trained in muscular and physiological chains according to the Busquet method, my practice is based on touch and dialogue. It is aimed at adults, adolescents and children who have chronic pain, the cause of which is often unknown: neck pain, lower back pain, headaches, chronic fatigue, etc. Using a combined approach of words and touch, we will investigate to understand and resolve blockages in the body: touch to release body tensions, and dialogue to bring to light the words hidden by the ailments. At your own pace and with respect for everyone. Body work is global, from the feet to the head. My steps also led me to pediatrics. I offer care focused on the concepts of baby Busquet muscle chains, pediatric manual therapy, as well as free motor skills. The little one's sleep is also regularly at the heart of parents' concerns. Interested in this subject, I learned a lot through training and readings. For those who wish, the sessions will therefore be an opportunity to discuss caring support for the baby's sleep. I have 5 years of experience as an osteopath in my own home (after a 5-year training at the IAO, completed in 2016) and 11 years as a physiotherapist in a medical home with a very diversified care and a sharp knowledge of orthopedic disorders, sharpened by a 5-year experience as an assistant and lecturer at the International Academy of Osteopathy (Gent). His approach is based on 3 pillars: Listening: I take the time to make a good history and clinical examination with each patient to make a diagnosis. Techniques : I provide several types of osteopathic techniques : mobilizations, myotensive techniques, manipulations, cranial or visceral techniques, inhibition, hooking... David Léonard is a physiotherapist, specialized in sports physiotherapy. He receives you at his private practice (Sombreffe) and travels to your home. He attaches great importance to training (sports physiotherapy, Trigger Points, and currently in muscle chains and orthopedic manual therapy) and has accumulated experience in the follow-up of sportsmen and women, whether in the office or in clubs (soccer, rugby). Passionate about my profession, I have specialized over the years in 2 specific areas: manual therapy and pelvi perineology.
