Si nécessaire, je travaille en collaboration avec d’autres professionnels de santé (médecin, kinésithérapeute, podologue, psychologue…) afin d’assurer un suivi de prise en charge complète et cohérente.

As a physiotherapist with a passion for my work, I am committed to offering effective treatment based on recent scientific recommendations and adapted to your needs. Together, we will do our utmost to achieve your health or performance goals. I am able to receive you in French, English or Dutch in my office for various treatments. I mainly practice in the field of sports physiotherapy, traumatology, musculoskeletal pathologies and post-operative follow-up. Do not hesitate to make an appointment before coming to the practice.

Graduated in general osteopathy, I provide treatment adapted to the patient and their disorders associated with the pathology. I also specialize in temporomandibular joint disorders, as well as pediatric and perinatal care. Osteopathy is a manual diagnostic and therapeutic approach that targets joint and tissue mobility restrictions. Using different techniques, the osteopath aims to relieve pain and associated disorders, helping to restore the body's function and rebalance it as a whole. Osteopathy is aimed at all populations: adults, elderly people, infants, pregnant women and athletes.

My outgoing, caring and passionate personality resonates with the philosophy of osteopathy which I decided to study for the human contact and the help to others through a hollistic approach to understand the origin of problems, to treat them and to avoid possible chronic injuries. Osteopathy, an alternative and traditional medicine, is a primary health care discipline and is therefore partially refunded by the mutual insurance company. I graduated in July 2022 from the European School of Osteopathy (ESO) in England and had the opportunity to study the human body and practice for 4 years. My training in England allowed me to learn the 3 bases of osteopathy such as the structural, the functional and the visceral and to put it into practice at the school's clinic where I was able to treat my patients for 2 years with supervision. These 1300 hours of clinical practice allowed me to acquire a wide range of techniques such as: articular, cranial, cranio-sacral, facial, myotensive, visceral, etc.. During my last year of master, I had the chance to specialise in pediatrics, perinatal and sports medicine. I had the exceptional opportunity to treat babies as young as a few weeks old, children and teenagers, pregnant women and post-partum, athletes and elderly people. Titulaire d'un Master en kinésithérapie, avec une spécialisation dans le quadrant supérieur, je suis passionné par la prise en charge des patients souffrant de pathologies orthopédiques, allant de la cervicalgie à la lombalgie, en passant par les tendinites du coude.

Kinésithérapeute jeune et dynamique, je suis pleinement motivé à accompagner mes patients avec bienveillance et écoute. Ma méthode de travail repose sur une approche centrée sur le patient, visant à proposer des soins personnalisés et adaptés à chaque situation clinique.

There is no pain whose cause is obvious and immediately attributable to a localized dysfunction. Often the origin of the pain is to be found in areas other than those affected. For example, a common backache may result from excessive fatigue in the foot or a malfunctioning jaw. Similarly, would you ever have imagined that overloading the intestines can induce headaches? Our body is a machine with complex gears and countless transmission belts. Being able to find the right key to interpret when the warning light of pain turns on, identifying its origin, looking at the patient in all his complexity, and being able to guarantee him lasting benefit are the greatest satisfaction that this work can give me.

The physiotherapist, Frédéric Weerlitzer, specialized in orthopedics, traumatology and sports pathologies, graduated from the HELB in 2000. He has been a physical therapist at the RSCA training center since 2005. He welcomes you at the Kio Medical Center every day by appointment.

Osteopath Florent Liénard welcomes you at the Stay Strong Center on Mondays from 3:30 to 6:30 pm, Wednesdays from 5:30 to 7:00 pm and Saturdays from 8:00 to 2:00 pm. He also welcomes you at the Aspria on Fridays from 2:30 to 7:45 pm. Consultations can be done in French or English. You are in good hands.

Kenza Berkaine, Osteopath D.O., graduated from the Université Libre de Bruxelles after a training organized within the Faculty of Motor Sciences in partnership with the Faculty of Medicine. This medical, clinical and practical training allows me to understand my patients' ailments in a global way. In order to best adapt to the specific needs of each patient, I use muscular, articular, myofascial and/or visceral techniques. I have also trained in cupping, trigger point therapy, digipressure and Reiki energy treatments in order to add other tools to complement and/or adapt the proposed treatment. I am a member of the Professional Union of Osteopaths of Belgium, which guarantees a continuous training. I have always had a great interest in sports and horses. I am currently training in equine osteopathy. Michel Schoonjans has a degree in physiotherapy and functional rehabilitation from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) and has been an official physiotherapist since 1996. With more than 23 years of experience, he is able to treat all people suffering from musculoskeletal, respiratory, cardiovascular or psychomotor disorders. Michel Schoonjans has a very rich background in the field of physical therapy. Indeed, he has carried out several in-depth researches on the interest of coupling isokinetic testing and EMG in the context of patellofemoral syndrome. For the past 10 years, he has also been a member of the teaching staff at the ULB as an assistant in charge of exercises at the Institute of Motor Sciences, and at the HELB as a training supervisor. He also practiced at the osteoarticular center of the Antoine Depage Clinic where he gained the trust of several patients. Today, physiotherapist Michel Schoonjans welcomes you in his own practice in Uccle. You can also find him at City Clinic in the city of Ixelles. He is specialized in general and sports trauma rehabilitation, in Sohier method analytical kinesiology and in lymphatic drainage. Physiotherapist graduated from the Haute École Ilya Prigogine in Brussels. Throughout my academic career, I have had the opportunity to explore various areas of physiotherapy, including pediatrics, geriatrics, neurology, musculoskeletal disorders, hand rehabilitation, abdominal rehabilitation, and many others. I am currently preparing for two training courses: one focusing on dys disorders in children and adolescents, and the other focused on hand rehabilitation. As a physiotherapist, I currently work in two centers: the Care Happy Center in Uccle and the June Medical Center in Tubize. My main goal as a professional is to provide high quality care and seek sustainable solutions for each patient, constantly keeping myself informed and adapting my approaches individually.
