My name is Bruna Correia.

I worked for 3 years in Portugal as a physiotherapist and I used that time to invest as much as I could in courses so that I could provide quality treatments to my patients. 

My main goal is to continue investing in gaining more and more knowledge so that I can apply it in my clinical practice. I'm a big fan of quality treatments and good follow-up with patients. That makes all the difference to the patient's progress.

I'm very involved in the musculoskeletal area and for this reason I treat pathologies such as back, shoulder, elbow, knee pain, I work a lot on post-operative rehabilitation and also with tendonitis, bursitis and calcifications.

I love doing treatments that involve acupuncture because I really like the quick and long-lasting results, and acupuncture allows me to do that. That's why I really enjoy combining my knowledge of physiotherapy with my knowledge of acupuncture (traditional Chinese medicine).

Met een Master in de Fysiotherapie, mijn recente opleiding en mijn verschillende beroepservaringen stellen mij in staat de meest recente behandelingstechnieken met maturiteit en professionalisme te benaderen om een optimaal functioneel en sportief herstel te verzekeren met respect, veiligheid en welzijn van de patiënt. De behandeling omvat zowel orthopedische revalidatie als ademhalingsfysiotherapie (volwassene en kind), geriatrische of sportfysiotherapie, met bijzondere nadruk op het uitleggen van pathologieën, behandeling en preventie. Ik streef ernaar de patiënt de actor van zijn behandeling te maken. Ik volg momenteel een opleiding in manuele therapieën en ik combineer al mijn vaardigheden om u te helpen uw fysieke capaciteiten te herwinnen of te behouden.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Physiotherapy and a Master’s degree from KU Leuven, where I specialize in Rehabilitation Science with a focus on Manual Therapy for Spinal Disorders and Chronic Pain Rehabilitation. I am currently a candidate for the European Diploma in Pain Physiotherapy.

Additionally, I am a research assistant at Pain in Motion and Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB), where I contribute to chronic pain research. I focus on the biopsychosocial factors and personalize my therapeutic plan depending on the needs of the patient.

Je suis kinésithérapeute déconventionnée (cela signifie que le prix de la séance est supérieure au prix de l'INAMI et donc le remboursement sera moindre).
