Since a week I have been struggling with severe headaches that come and go. When it comes it is very extreme pain. I had cold and cough 2 weeks ago and after that it started to happen. Cold is fine now but headache is not going away. I also weaned my baby from breastfeeding during this time, although I am not sure if this is related. I have started to take medicine Coldrex which helps but not sure if I can take for how long. Thanks for your response
You should see a doctor (preferably generalist/family doctor, otherwise neurologist) to see what kind of headache it is: migraine, tension, secondary (i.e. caused by something else such as sinusitis...)

We can then exclude migraines, facial nevralgia and arnauld nevralgia as it looks acute.
If it’s more occipital ? With or not nausea? Photophobia ?
Mandibular articulation?
