Stomatologists

Dr Melissa Zalane is a physician specialised in stomatology (oral and jaw surgery). She graduated with High Honours in both Medicine (ULB) and Dentistry (ULB). Her dual medical and dental background enables her to manage conditions affecting the mouth, jaws and face with a comprehensive medical and surgical approach. Her practice is exclusively dedicated to stomatology, oral surgery, implant dentistry, facial aesthetic medicine and the management of sleep disorders. She does not provide general dental care such as fillings, dental cleanings, root canal treatments, prosthodontics or orthodontics.

She provides consultations in stomatology and performs a full range of oral surgical procedures, including simple and complex tooth extractions, wisdom tooth surgery, dental implants, bone grafting, sinus lift procedures, biopsies of the oral mucosa and minor salivary glands, treatment of jaw cysts and oral mucosal lesions, apicoectomy, frenectomy, management of impacted canines, and CBCT (Cone Beam Computed Tomography) imaging.

Dr Melissa Zalane also treats temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders, bruxism and orofacial pain. She is currently undertaking a university diploma in the odonto-stomatological management of obstructive sleep apnoea and provides treatment with mandibular advancement devices.

She also holds an Inter-University European Diploma in facial aesthetic and reconstructive injectable treatments and performs procedures using botulinum toxin (Botox®) and hyaluronic acid for both aesthetic and functional indications.

Committed to providing the highest standard of care, Dr Melissa Zalane regularly attends continuing education courses, national and international congresses, and university training programmes to remain up to date with the latest scientific evidence and surgical techniques. Le docteur Braem dispose de plusieurs années d’expérience hospitalière en chirurgie buccale et maxillo-faciale. Il réalise notamment des extractions (dont dents de sagesse et cas complexes), des petites chirurgies intra-buccales, des greffes osseuses, et assure le suivi de pathologies spécifiques comme les troubles de l’ATM, la chirurgie orthognathique et les ostéonécroses des mâchoires.
