I am a clinical psychologist, trained in victimology and psycho-traumatology and in continuing education in cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy at the Université Libre de Bruxelles. In parallel to my consultation, I work in the Mental Health Service of the Province of Brabant Wallon in Tubize with adults and adolescents. As a person and a psychologist, I have always valued listening and empathy. Thus, the welcome and the non-judgmental attitude that I guarantee to my patients, allow me to create a secure relationship with them, characterized by benevolence. My practice is characterized by the use of various tools such as relaxation, anchoring and self-hypnosis techniques. The patient can learn to use these tools to work through his or her emotions and experience them more serenely. The establishment of a trusting and collaborative relationship between the patient and myself is essential in order for us to work together. In this way, the support that I will offer the patient will allow him/her to have a space where he/she can free his/her speech and verbalize his/her emotions, so that we can make sense of what he/she is going through. The change that the patient wants to achieve and the setting of objectives according to his initial request, as well as the realization of new experiences in a secure place, will be at the center of the care that I propose to offer him.

I have a master's degree in Clinical Psychology and Psychopathology from the ULB with a specialization in parenting support from the UCL. Using an integrative approach that reconciles psychoanalysis, behavioral and humanistic therapies, I propose that we work together in the understanding and resolution of problematic situations. Understanding the conceptual and cultural framework of others is the basis of the work I propose to undertake. Having worked in Latin America and practicing with expatriates, I attach particular importance to language, which can bring valuable subtleties to the therapeutic work. I receive in French as well as in Portuguese. The modalities and rhythm of the sessions will be determined during the first meetings where we will be able to identify the nature of the problem. My consultations are aimed at teenagers, adults and elderly people to whom I offer home follow-ups if necessary. Mon expérience m'a renforcé dans l'idée que chaque patient est unique et qu’il doit être accueilli dans sa singularité car chacun à son histoire et ses difficultés propres. La thérapie s'articule sur la rencontre entre deux personnes, le patient et le thérapeute, qui s'engagent mutuellement dans une aventure qui permettra au patient de se rencontrer lui-même et de faire la connaissance du plus intime de lui-même, partie souvent méconnue ou occultée. On pense alors que la thérapie sera alors très longue ce qui n'est pas forcément le cas mais de cette rencontre, il en ressort des effets souvent étonnants qui contribuent au mieux-être du patient. La parole et les interventions du thérapeute permettent la libération de nos chaînes, souvent présentent à notre insu. Chaînes qui sont source de culpabilité, de honte, d'angoisse, de dépression, de phobies ou d'actes compulsifs. Chaînes qui nous poussent parfois à des comportements destructeurs, addiction, anorexie, automutilation, agressivité. Dans la thérapie, le patient pourra délier ce qui dans son histoire avait été lié de travers, il pourra trouver les mots qui libèrent et dans ce trajet, il pourra compter sur le soutien, la présence et les interventions du thérapeute qui est là pour rendre ce chemin possible.

Étant inscrite à la Commission des psychologues, je vous fournis à la fin de chaque séance un reçu officiel et une attestation pour votre mutuelle. Cette dernière vous permet d’obtenir, selon votre mutuelle, un remboursement partiel du montant de la séance.
