I am a specialist in pediatrics, graduated from the Free University of Brussels (ULB). I practice general pediatrics and specialize in the field of gastroenterology. My passion for children led me to choose the specialty of pediatrics, which gives me the opportunity to follow their development from early childhood to adolescence. Being concerned about their general well-being, listening and smiling are important to me in caring for your child.

In 2007, I realized my childhood dream: to become a pediatrician! My training in pediatrics is a journey within the great hospitals: the University Hospital of the Queen Fabiola, the University Hospital of Saint-Pierre in Brussels and the University Hospital of Vaud in Lausanne (Switzerland). I am currently practicing in the IRIS Sud hospital network in general pediatrics. My tropism for infectiology and vaccinology led me to train in pediatric infectiology (in Paris, Lyon, Liège and Brussels) and in tropical and travel medicine in Antwerp. In spite of the high technicality of today's medicine, it must remain human. I think I have acquired this skill through my education but also through my humanitarian missions.

As a general pediatrician with a specialization in allergology, I provide care (prevention, diagnosis and therapy) for various forms of allergies affecting children. I take care of childhood diseases, urticaria, food allergies, angioedema, allergic rhinitis, consultations for newborns, but also emergencies. Dr. Nathalie Blavier, a pediatrician who graduated from the Catholic University of Louvain in 2017, welcomes you in her private practice, located at Rue Hanoteau 84 in 5140 Sombreffe, on Wednesday mornings/afternoons and Friday afternoons, as well as at the Clinique Notre Dame de Grâce in Gosselies on Tuesday afternoons, Thursday mornings/afternoons, and Friday mornings (specialized consultations in pediatric pneumo-allergology are currently only available at the Clinic). Après avoir travaillé 30 ans en milieu hospitalier, j'ai décidé d'ouvrir mon propre cabinet. J'ai adoré travailler au sein du service de pédiatrie et de la maternité au CHIREC de Braine-l'Alleud. Le travail en équipe avec mes collègues médecins et les infirmières m'a apporté énormément de satisfaction et de connaissances. L'organisation du service et l'épanouissement de ce dernier m'ont également procuré beaucoup de bonheur. En entreprenant cette nouvelle aventure en tant qu'indépendante, je voudrais utiliser toute mon expérience pour offrir des soins médicaux de qualité dans un cadre plus personnel, et avec une plus grande disponibilité. J'ai gardé une consultation de pneumo-allergologie au CHIREC de Braine-l'Alleud afin de profiter du matériel de pointe de mise au point comme la spiromètrie et les tests cutanés, ainsi que les tests de provocation orale.

Dr. Laura Cauwenberghs works as a paediatrician in the AZ Monica hospital in Antwerp and Deurne and in her own private practice in Antwerp (Linkeroever). Dr. Cauwenberghs focuses on general paediatrics. Practice General paediatrics. Doctor Giovanna D'Amico is a general pediatrician, who obtained her degree in Medicine and Surgery in Italy, and who specialized in pediatrics in Brussels, at the Free University of Brussels. Docteur Asimakopoulou Andriana est diplômée de l’ Université Kapodistrienne d’ Athènes depuis 2008 où elle a obtenu son diplôme de médecine. Passionnée par le travail auprès des enfants, elle s’ est spécialisée en Pediatrie et a obtenu son diplôme en 2014 à l’ ULB. Elle a réalisé sa mémoire à la clinique diabétologique de l’Hôpital Universitaire des Enfants Reine Fabiola, sujet « L’évolution des autoanticorps au cours des années du diabète et leur relation avec l’âge, le sexe et l’ HLA » et sa thèse de doctorat à l’Hôpital Universitaire d’Ioannina, sujet « Rares infections infantiles de la région facio-cervicale »

Elle a travaillé dans des hôpitaux universitaires comme l’ Hopital des Enfants Reine Fabiola où elle travaille toujours et dans d’ hôpitaux privés comme Chirec. Actuellement elle travaille à l’ Hopital de Nivelles CHU Helora, à l’ ONE et a l’ 

Hôpital Universitaire de enfants. 

Elle a suivi plein des séminaires de réanimation néonatale et pédiatrique. 

Elle a acquis une expérience précieuse pendant les années qu elle a travaillé dans les hôpitaux et dans les consultations.

Dr. Assaad Salamé is a pediatrician with 15 years of experience. He is a specialist in general pediatrics and pediatric gastroenterology. He graduated in medicine from the Université Libre de Bruxelles in 1999. He has worked in several institutions such as the HUDERF, the CHU Ambroise Paré in Mons, the Clinique de la Basilique (CHIREC) and in several private practices. With several years of experience and being a member of many associations such as BEPSGHAN (Belgian Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology) or GFHGNP (French-speaking group of pediatric hepato, gastroenterology and nutrition), Dr. Salamé will be pleased to welcome you in his practice in Waterloo.

Le Docteur Caroline Cruysmans est spécialisée en pédiatrie générale, gastro-entérologie et nutrition pédiatrique.

Elle est diplômée en médecine de l'Université Catholique de Louvain en 2008 et en pédiatrie en 2013. Elle s'est formée en gastro-entérologie pédiatrique au sein de l'UCL, AP-HP Necker à Paris et l'HUDERF.
