Graduate of osteopathy at the U.L.B. The reason for the consultation, the patient's complaint as well as a clinical examination will lead to an appropriate osteopathic treatment. Osteopath D.O. graduated from the ULB (first university teaching of Osteopathy in Belgium), Romain Derue has a very broad field of intervention. He mainly treats musculoskeletal and nervous disorders (lumbago, torticollis, sciatica, sprains, tendinitis) but also digestive, jaw and stress problems. His practice in the office is reassuring and can be adapted to everyone, whatever their profile, age or activity. Romain Derue can therefore treat athletes, pregnant women, adults and children.

I only practice osteopathy in my office. Consultations are in French, English, Arabic or Armenian. I treat adults, pregnant women, athletes, the elderly and children (but not babies).  After completing my physiotherapy studies at the Lebanese University, I came to Belgium to study osteopathy at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB). Passionate about the biomechanics of the body and human anatomy, I work as an assistant in the ULB functional anatomy laboratory, assisting medical students with practical anatomy work.

Ma principale mission est de soulager vos douleurs en fournissant un traitement adapté à vos besoins et à vos attentes. Pour ce faire j’utilise une large gamme de techniques manipulatives et non-manipulatives (articulaires, musculaires, fasciales…).

Passionné par l’ostéopathie, je suis soucieux de pouvoir apporter un mieux être à mes patients et les soulager. Cela m’a permis d’acquérir des compétences étendues, notamment en ostéopathie structurelle, fonctionnelle , viscérale et crânienne. Cette polyvalence me permet d’adapter mes traitements en fonction des besoins spécifiques de chaque patient. Pendant ma troisième et quatrième année, j’ai eu l’opportunité de travailler avec des patients au sein d’une clinique ostéopathique, supervisée par des ostéopathes qualifiés, totalisant ainsi plus de 1300 heures de pratique clinique. Au cours de ma dernière année de Master, j’ai choisi de me spécialiser en ostéopathie pédiatrique, périnatale et sportive, élargissant ainsi mon champ de compétences.
