Marie Deconinck a obtenu son diplôme de gynécologue à la KU Leuven en 2019. Pendant sa formation, elle a travaillé aux Cliniques de l’Europe à Sint-Elisabeth Uccle, à la Clinique Saint-Jean à Bruxelles, à l’UZ Leuven et à l’AZ Groeninge à Courtrai.
