A cardiologist since 2013, Dr. Stancu obtained her PhD at UCL - Cliniques Universitaires Saint Luc in 2018 and is currently assistant chief of clinic in the Cardiology Department of CHU Saint Pierre - ULB in Brussels. Twice a fellow of the European Society of Cardiology, she has specialized in cardiac imaging techniques using echocardiography and cardiac magnetic resonance, for which she has obtained European certification. Her area of expertise includes diseases of the valves, the heart muscle and its arteries.
