Je propose un suivi global : suivi de grossesse, préparation à la naissance, soins postnataux, soutien à l’allaitement et portage physiologique.

My wish is to offer you an accompaniment that corresponds to you from the beginning of your pregnancy until the first year of your baby's life. Training and specialties : prenatal consultations, global preparation for birth (birth project), self-hypnosis (hypno-sweet birth method), lactation consultations (newborn feeding, restrictive mouth brakes), homeopathy, Quantik MAMA, physiological carrying of your baby, physical preparation for birth (prenatal yoga, De Gasquet method), Guillarme method (in preparation, for pushing during delivery and caesarean section, for perineal reeducation), home care after birth for mother and baby, sleep maintenance for newborns and infants

My background I grew up with my feet in the Mediterranean. I left the south of France to study in Brussels. My first big trip. And what a journey! After graduating in 2005, I decided to leave for India, backpacking, after a few replacements as a midwife in hospitals in France. I joined an Indian midwife in a small village of Karnataka in the south of India. During several weeks, I observe her...I learn...I listen... I began to develop a finesse of clinical observation. Being in the "middle of nowhere", with no analysis laboratory, no ultrasound and no fetal monitoring, forced me to adapt without concession: to use my eyes, my ears, my hands, to smell the odors. Senses that I had forgotten in my native West due to the blissful ease of access to medical science. My path will lead me to meet almost all of India and Nepal. I returned to Belgium with a heart full of stars to start working in hospitals as a midwife.

Diplômée depuis 2011 en tant que sage femme, je travaille actuellement à la clinique Saint Michel en salle d'accouchement et en maternité. En parallèle, je fais des préparations à la naissance, des consultations prénatales( en alternance avec le gynécologue),des séances de réflexologie, des préparation en Hyno-Douceur. Je fais aussi des suivis post partum à domicile ainsi que des ateliers de massage bébé. Depuis juin 2024, je suis consultante en lactation, bientôt certifiée IBCLC en septembre 2024. Je serai ravie de vous accompagner dans cette magnifique aventure. The midwife accompanies you during pregnancy, offers support and follow-up before, during and after pregnancy and childbirth. As a midwife, I provide pre- and postnatal consultations, support during the postpartum period and advise you on breastfeeding. I support you in building your self-confidence, accompany you in decisions regarding your desired care and assist you in a harmonious birth. In the area of fertility or for preconceptional advice until the end of pregnancy, I answer your questions and advise you in a professional way in the important moments for you, your baby and your family. If pregnancy problems or difficulties arise, you can get advice and support. If necessary, I will be in contact with other health care providers. Welcome to all of you!

En tant que sage-femme, j’ai à cœur d’offrir un accompagnement à chaque étape de la maternité, de la grossesse au post-partum. Mes services comprennent : Suivi post-partum à domicile, Préparation globale à la naissance, Massages prénatals et massages pour bébés, Cupping thérapie.

Venue à ce métier, un peu par hasard, je me suis prise de passion pour le métier de sage-femme (SF) en assistant à mon premier accouchement dans une maternité marocaine. Après avoir exercé pendant deux ans au Maroc, j'ai refait mes études en Belgique afin de pouvoir y pratiquer. J'ai obtenu le diplôme belge en 2014, ce qui m'a permis, dès cette année-là, d'intégrer l'ASBL Au Fil De La Naissance (AFDN). En 2017, j'ai complété ma formation par un Master en Santé Publique et j'enseigne à présent dans une école de SF.

I therefore wish to support you in this global perspective, integrating all dimensions of the human being (physical, emotional, spiritual, social, etc.), while combining current scientific knowledge and deep respect for physiology. Comme sage-femme, j’ai une grande confiance en la vie et en la naissance. L’intuition des femmes, la sagesse de leurs bébés sont pour moi des guides dans mon travail, mais aussi dans ma vie. J’aime rendre aux familles leur pleine autonomie en leur laissant l’espace pour qu’elles puissent être actrices de leur santé. J’aime accompagner les femmes et les couples dans cette période de grande transformation afin qu’iels puissent vivre ces changements avec sérénité. Mon amour et ma grande passion pour mon métier me poussent à entourer les familles avec beaucoup de bienveillance et de douceur. Ayant travaillé quatre ans en salle d’accouchement, à la maternité, en consultation prénatale et en service de grossesses à hauts risques, je bénéficie d’une expérience globale et multiple. J’ai également eu la chance de me former dans l’Approche Quantique ainsi qu’en Rebozo. Je suis par ailleurs formée en haptonomie, en préparation affective à la naissance, en préparation prénatale aquatique et en massage harmonisant de la femme enceinte. Je proposerai bientôt des rituels de soins post partum. En rejoignant l’équipe Naissance d’Amala, je suis heureuse de pouvoir vous accompagner en vous proposant ce suivi global, respectueux du processus physiologique de votre grossesse, de votre accouchement et du post-partum. Je tiens à préserver l’intimité de cette naissance à venir et vous donner confiance en ce que vous savez et sentez. Il est important pour moi de m’adapter à vos croyances et à votre rythme.

Florence Wouters is a professional midwife specializing in the Bonapace Method, Rebozo, N'feraido, and Hypnobirthing. Passionate about this profession, she trained at ISEI, St Jean and HELB Ilya Prigogine. After graduation, Florence Wouters officially started her practice in 2008. At the end of her studies, she completed a TFE on "Childbirth, with or without epidural". Her objective being to improve herself as much as possible in order to offer a precious and qualitative accompaniment during the birth of a child, Florence Wouters has acquired new professional experiences since then. Thus, after 8 years of work at the Clinique Ste Elisabeth (Uccle), she joined the Amala Espace Naissance practice. She also made a trip to Mexico where she was able to work with a traditional midwife and discover the procedure that follows home births. Florence Wouters is also a member of the UPSFB association. This allows her to update her knowledge each time to better satisfy her patients. An appointment with midwife Florence Wouters can last an average of one hour depending on the type of consultation. Appointments are also self-confirmed.
