I have a master's degree in Clinical Psychology and Psychopathology from the ULB with a specialization in parenting support from the UCL. Using an integrative approach that reconciles psychoanalysis, behavioral and humanistic therapies, I propose that we work together in the understanding and resolution of problematic situations. Understanding the conceptual and cultural framework of others is the basis of the work I propose to undertake. Having worked in Latin America and practicing with expatriates, I attach particular importance to language, which can bring valuable subtleties to the therapeutic work. I receive in French as well as in Portuguese. The modalities and rhythm of the sessions will be determined during the first meetings where we will be able to identify the nature of the problem. I receive clients at the Mimosa Center in Brussels on Mondays and Saturdays for individual, family or couple counselling. My consultations are aimed at teenagers, adults and elderly people to whom I offer home follow-ups if necessary. After a few years of practice, I believe that we offer a better quality of listening and presence to those who are at the interaction of our interests and our clinical experience. This is why I prefer to see adolescents and adults with a strong artistic sensibility, but who suffer from depression, anxiety and eating disorders, which are all invisible vulnerability factors; and I am happy to listen to people who have experienced a history of violence, which impacts their emotional and professional choices as well as their self-esteem.
