During my studies in Psychology at the University of Liege, I was mainly interested in cognitive and behavioral psychology as well as in neuropsychology. These studies now form the basis of my practice with an adult population. Afterwards, while working, I continued to learn and train. Among others, I continued to learn about motivational interviewing, ACT therapy, mindfulness, psycho-education, ... As for my professional career, after several years of expertise for the justice system and work on addictions as a psychologist, my skills as a neuropsychologist have allowed me to focus on supporting people suffering from Alzheimer's disease (or another disease of the same type) as well as their loved ones and professionals in the field. Bonjour à toutes et à tous, je suis psychologue clinicienne et je travaille avec des adultes dès l’âge de 18 ans. Une citation que j’aime beaucoup : « Mettre des mots sur ses maux ». En effet, je pense que pouvoir parler de ses émotions ainsi que ses difficultés dans un cadre bienveillant ; où non-jugement, respect de l’autre, secret professionnel règnent, permet d’apaiser certaines souffrances et d’apprendre à comprendre ses ressentis ainsi que son fonctionnement. Je m'appelle Victoria, je suis psychologue clinicienne formée à la Psychologie Clinique et à la Psychopathologie chez l'adulte et l'adolescent.

I am a clinical psychologist, trained in victimology and psycho-traumatology and in continuing education in cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy at the Université Libre de Bruxelles. In parallel to my consultation, I work in the Mental Health Service of the Province of Brabant Wallon in Tubize with adults and adolescents. As a person and a psychologist, I have always valued listening and empathy. Thus, the welcome and the non-judgmental attitude that I guarantee to my patients, allow me to create a secure relationship with them, characterized by benevolence. My practice is characterized by the use of various tools such as relaxation, anchoring and self-hypnosis techniques. The patient can learn to use these tools to work through his or her emotions and experience them more serenely. The establishment of a trusting and collaborative relationship between the patient and myself is essential in order for us to work together. In this way, the support that I will offer the patient will allow him/her to have a space where he/she can free his/her speech and verbalize his/her emotions, so that we can make sense of what he/she is going through. The change that the patient wants to achieve and the setting of objectives according to his initial request, as well as the realization of new experiences in a secure place, will be at the center of the care that I propose to offer him.

This training has provided me with a medical background that allows me to guarantee a complete and secure treatment of the patient. My practice includes a wide range of techniques (articular, muscular, tissue, visceral...), which allows me to apply personalized care, while keeping a global approach of your body. My treatments are aimed at various problems of the musculoskeletal system, such as: lumbago, torticollis, sciatica, muscular tension, restrictions of joint mobility, jaw disorders (TMJ)...
