These specialisations have allowed me to acquire know-how and to develop my skills. Osteopath D.O. graduated from the ULB (first university teaching of Osteopathy in Belgium), Romain Derue has a very broad field of intervention. He mainly treats musculoskeletal and nervous disorders (lumbago, torticollis, sciatica, sprains, tendinitis) but also digestive, jaw and stress problems. After one and a half years of practice and home in Brussels, I had the chance to work one year in a multidisciplinary rehabilitation center in Paris. I am now working in the psychiatric department of the Cliniques de l'Europe in addition to my independent activity. I have an approach that focuses on the individual as a whole. Practitioner Ayhan KARATAY is a physical therapist with a master's degree in general physical therapy from the Haute Ecole Léonard de Vinci (Parnasse-ISEI). Practicing since 2018 in his private practice in Brussels (rue des Patriotes 48), he also holds a diploma in podology. You can consult him for a post-operative revalidation, orthopedic treatment, rehabilitation, back pain, kypho-scoliosis, joint problems or sports injuries. I currently work at the pluridisciplinary medical centre Asper Bascule in Uccle. I practice general physiotherapy and mainly in orthopaedic, musculoskeletal and neurological disorders. My name is Francisco Toscano Jimenez , I am a Spanish national, raised in Germany and educated in the United Kingdom. Different countries and cultures have been a part of my life since early childhood, upbringing and throughout my studies and professional life. My professional development began in the mid 1990 when I started with the interest in the sciences of health and sport. What began as an hobby become a vocation of life. My initial training in Manuel Therapy and Sport physiotherapy were the first steps in my professional path. After a few years of practice in Germany I saw my interest growing towards a broader and deeper understanding of the human body. Understanding health as more than the absence of symptoms lead me to conclude that Osteopathy was providing with the answers to many of my questions. I come to realize and understand Osteopathy as a true biological science. My journey of Osteopathy started in England where I completed a honours degree in Osteopathic Medicine, BSc Hons. Ost. Med. in 2006. After years in private practice in England and Spain I have recently chosen to move to the country of origin of my wife. From 2008-218 I have provided postgraduate programs, lectures, conferences in Classical Osteopathy and a publication on Fascia. Osteopathy has provided me with wonderful teachings and learning possibilities in countries like Sweden, Italy, Portugal, Spain and beyond the Atlantic. Osteopathy has no borders or boundaries! Understanding and treating the human body as a whole rather than as a sum of parts has been my personal dedication and interest in clinical practice and experience over the last 25 years.
