Emma Rebufello, osteopath D.O., graduated from the Université Libre de Bruxelles after obtaining a complementary master in osteopathy. The university training that I followed allows me to have a clinical and practical background adequate to the needs and the accompaniment of my patients. My practice is composed of muscular, articular, visceral and tissue techniques and is aimed at adults as well as pregnant women and children. I also trained in pediatrics during my last year of university following an internship at the maternity hospital in Ixelles. There is no pain whose cause is obvious and immediately attributable to a localized dysfunction. Often the origin of the pain is to be found in areas other than those affected. Curious to understand the functioning of the human body and passionate about manual medicine, I completed a 6-year course at the Université Libre de Bruxelles before obtaining my osteopathic diploma. Today, I consult in several multidisciplinary practices in Brussels where I ensure a precise, gentle and patient-friendly treatment. As an osteopath, and in a general way, I am interested in musculo-articular pains as well as in their relief by the hand and by the movement. I am particularly interested in the treatment of pregnant women, the jaw joint and its relationship with the cervical spine, and acute situations such as torticollis or lumbago.

The training I received and my experience allow me to say today that my practice is as varied as the clinical situations I have encountered. Indeed, I consider that each technique must be adapted to the patient's situation and needs. I have been able to perfect my practice by completing it with a clinical medical examination and learning what to do in case of remarkable symptoms in order to conduct the sessions in complete safety.

I am a qualified Osteopath (DO) by profession since 2019, I have 20 years of experience in manual therapy (fascial manipulation Stecco, tiger points, dry needing, HVLA ,BLT soft tissues, cranio-sacral techniques, visceral techniques) I specialize in all cases of treatment of pain of unknown origin, I perform a very accurate differential diagnosis in a holistic approach to the patient.
