My academic career has been enriched by numerous internships in various healthcare environments, notably in nursing homes, hospitals and in physiotherapy practices. I like human contact, whether with children, adults or the elderly. I quickly discovered my passion for end-of-life support and pediatrics and I aspire to specialize in these areas to bring a more rigorous approach and greater comfort to my practice. Si ma formation me permet de prendre en charge des affections orthopédiques générales et respiratoires pour tous les âges, j'ai développé une expertise spécifique dans les domaines suivants :

-Kinésithérapie Pédiatrique : Accompagnement des nouveau-nés, enfants et adolescents (neuro-développement et orthopédie pédiatrique).

-Sphère Périnatale : Soins pré et postnataux, ainsi que rééducation abdominale.

I graduated in 2012 and continue to educate myself on a regular basis in order to stay current and provide my patients with the best possible care. I am oriented as much as possible towards evidence-based practice (practice that combines the best scientific evidence and takes into account the patient's preferences). I provide general physical therapy (orthopedics, rheumatology, neurology, cardiology, respiratory physical therapy, post-natal physical therapy, chronic pain) and help with the initiation or resumption of sports activities. Information and understanding of one's health is an important part of my practice.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Physiotherapy, a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Sciences and Physiotherapy from KU Leuven, where I specialized in Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation and Manual Therapy, and the European Diploma in Pain Physiotherapy.

Alongside my clinical work, I am a PhD Researcher at Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) and a member of the Pain in Motion Research Group. My research focuses on chronic pain, psychological factors such as anxiety, and how psychologically informed approaches can be integrated into evidence-based physiotherapy to provide more personalized and effective rehabilitation. I am also a member of the Belgian Pain Society’s Young Researchers Panel, supporting initiatives that connect and promote early-career pain researchers in Belgium.

MY APPROACH

I provide individualized, evidence-based physiotherapy adapted to each patient’s symptoms, goals, preferences, and daily life. I consider not only the physical aspects of pain, but also factors such as stress, anxiety, sleep, movement confidence, and previous experiences that may influence recovery.
