Physiotherapists for Abdominal rehabilitation

Graduated from a Master in Physiotherapy in 2016, I work mainly in Manual Therapy (Australian Manual Therapy certificate) including a visceral approach and the temporo mandibular joint. I also work at the muscular level in Trigger Point, Dry Needling or with suction cups. The objective is to have a global approach to allow the most individualized treatment to meet the needs of each patient.

I graduated in physiotherapy in France in 2011. During my professional career, I have specialised in different fields (sports rehabilitation, urogynaecology, respiratory...). These specialisations have allowed me to acquire know-how and to develop my skills. The passion I have for my work, my professional experience and my various training courses enable me to respond to the problems and needs encountered by patients. My therapeutic approach is rigorous, educational, dynamic and respectful of all.

The physiotherapist, Frédéric Weerlitzer, specialized in orthopedics, traumatology and sports pathologies, graduated from the HELB in 2000. He has been a physical therapist at the RSCA training center since 2005. He welcomes you at the Kio Medical Center every day by appointment.

Diplômée en Kinésithérapie et Réadaptation de l’Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB), je vous accueille au sein du cabinet VIMECO, situé à Laeken. Ma pratique est guidée par une volonté constante de perfectionnement afin d’offrir à mes patients les techniques les plus adaptées.

Si ma formation me permet de prendre en charge des affections orthopédiques générales et respiratoires pour tous les âges, j'ai développé une expertise spécifique dans les domaines suivants :

-Kinésithérapie Pédiatrique : Accompagnement des nouveau-nés, enfants et adolescents (neuro-développement et orthopédie pédiatrique).

-Sphère Périnatale : Soins pré et postnataux, ainsi que rééducation abdominale.

Je privilégie une approche bio psychosociale, chaque traitement est une collaboration. En plaçant l'écoute au centre de ma pratique, je m'assure d'une prise en charge globale qui tient compte de votre environnement et de vos objectifs personnels pour un rétablissement durable.

A graduate of Parnasse-ISEI, Guillaume Nicolas is pleased to welcome you to his office from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Practicing general, neurological (adult and child), orthopedic (adult), respiratory (adult) and geriatric physiotherapy. Guillaume Nicolas also does domiciles. The homes are located in the commune of Laeken.

Located in Forest, on the border of Ixelles, St-Gilles and Uccle, Claire is oriented towards the care of musculoskeletal pain. She receives you for orthopedic treatments, post-operation, scoliosis, or for global muscular reinforcement in prevention of sports injuries. She is particularly interested in shoulder pain, low back pain and neck pain as well as issues related to chronic pain. Trained and certified in STOTT Pilates, she incorporates it into her treatments in order to help patients strengthen their muscles and develop their proprioception. Her goal is to bring people to know their body better and to use it without fear. She regularly trains and questions herself in order to provide her patients with treatments that are validated by the scientific community while being oriented by her own qualities as well as by the individuality of each patient. She transmits her knowledge to the patient and guides him/her in order to make him/her autonomous in his/her treatment and to keep the acquired knowledge beyond the consultation period.

Emilie Parent is a graduate of Parnasse-ISEI. She obtained a master's degree in physical therapy in 2020. She mainly treats orthopedic injuries (fractures, sports injuries, low back pain, ...) but is also qualified for neurological physiotherapy (post-stroke, tetra/para-plegia, Parkinson's, ...), cardiovascular physiotherapy as well as for all types of exercise training. She also practices Dry Needling to treat trigger points. She is also interested in peri-natal support.

With 9 years of practice in a medical center, I have enriched my practice with exchanges with my colleagues doctors, nurses, psychologists,... Through my various trainings, I have specialized in the treatment of joint, muscle and nerve pain (sciatica, cervicobrachialgia,...), pregnancy support and respiratory kinesiology for babies. I followed the 2 year certificate in manual therapy at UCL and other trainings (Trigger Points, Maitland, Stecco Fasciatherapy, Mulligan, neurodynamics,...) which give me many strings to my bow to help you with your back pain, neck, shoulder, knee, headaches, osteoarthritis,... Physiotherapy, for me, is a collaborative work with the patient. I like to share my knowledge of the body and its pathologies to help you better understand and manage your pain. Passionate about pregnancy, I accompany mothers and couples to prepare for childbirth. My goal is to give them the necessary resources and advice concerning breathing, labor positions, effective pushing,... I also do physical therapy after childbirth to strengthen the abdominal muscles and the perineum. I can come to your home (contact me on my phone). Passionate about my profession, I have specialized over the years in 2 specific areas: manual therapy and pelvi perineology. In addition to my consultations in Liberchies, I also receive patients at the Jolimont hospital, where I work in close collaboration with various doctors/surgeons. Finally, I have been teaching for a few years at the Catholic University of Leuven and at Parnasse-Isei, to physiotherapists who wish to specialize in one of these two fields.

Passionate about sports since I can remember, I specialize in sports medicine, low back pain, running and manual therapy! My practice is based on scientific evidence and taking into account your experience, your needs and expectations!
