Au fil de mon parcours, j’ai eu l’opportunité d’exercer dans différents milieux de soins en Belgique et en France. Ces expériences m’ont permis d’enrichir ma vision de la kinésithérapie et d’acquérir un savoir-faire dans la prise en charge d’une grande variété de pathologies, allant de la pédiatrie à la gériatrie.

Soucieux de rester à jour sur les connaissances en kinésithérapie et de garantir une prise en charge de qualité pour le patient, j’ai complété ma formation par des spécialisations en kinésithérapie respiratoire et en thérapie manuelle. Aujourd’hui, c’est dans le domaine de la kinésithérapie du sport que j’ai décidé de me spécialiser avec pour objectif d’élargir mon champ d’action, d’accompagner le sportif blessé vers une reprise sans risque, mais aussi d’aider toute personne souhaitant retrouver ou maintenir une activité physique régulière.

Dans ma pratique, j’accorde une grande importance à l’écoute et adapte mes traitements en fonction du contexte propre à chaque patient. Mon objectif est d’offrir à chacun les outils nécessaires pour retrouver un maximum d’autonomie, de bien-être et une meilleure qualité de vie au quotidien. Passionné par le sport, je pratique le triathlon depuis plusieurs années. Je suis convaincu que le mouvement et l’activité physique sont des éléments essentiels pour préserver sa santé sur le long terme.

Je souhaite me spécialiser en pédiatrie et en périnatalité – uro-gynécologie, afin d’accompagner les femmes, les hommes et les enfants à chaque étape de leur vie.

Mon approche est centrée sur la bienveillance, la douceur et l’individualisation des soins, que ce soit pour la rééducation post-partum, les troubles périnéaux, la prévention, ou le suivi du développement de l’enfant(plagiocéphalie, torticolis, motricité…), ou toute sorte de prise en charge.

Mon objectif : offrir une prise en charge complète, adaptée à chacun, pour favoriser le mouvement, l’équilibre et le bien-être global.

David Léonard is a physiotherapist, specialized in sports physiotherapy. He receives you at his private practice (Sombreffe) and travels to your home. He attaches great importance to training (sports physiotherapy, Trigger Points, and currently in muscle chains and orthopedic manual therapy) and has accumulated experience in the follow-up of sportsmen and women, whether in the office or in clubs (soccer, rugby). Damien Chavalle is a physical therapist with 2 years of experience, he is specialized in sports physical therapy, manual therapy and neurology. He graduated from ISEK in 2017 and in sports physiotherapy in 2019 at Kinésport Paris. Responsible for the medical cell of the Rugby Club La Hulpe since 2018. Physiotherapist in the women's rugby 7s national team since 2017.
