Dr. Vanderheyde is a pulmonologist specializing in thoracic oncology, asthma and chronic bronchitis (COPD) with over 12 years of professional experience. He has participated in numerous conferences and is constantly updating his skills to provide better care to his patients. He is a member of several associations, including ESMO, ERS and ATS, and received his specialty diploma in pulmonology in 2009 from the Université Catholique de Louvain in Woluwe. En tant que pneumologue, je réalise des tests respiratoires pour mettre au point l'asthme, la BPCO (bronchite chronique), ainsi que les autres pneumopathies qui peuvent avoir un impact négatif sur la qualité de vie. L'oxygénothérapie doit rester une thérapie gratuite pour tout le monde, soit en aiguë ou à long-terme (en convention). My medical activity is focused on the treatment of patients with respiratory diseases (COPD, Emphysema, Asthma and Respiratory failure). I am particularly specialized in the treatment of sleep disorders (sleep apnea, restless legs syndrome, insomnia, parasomnia, etc.). I base my therapy on physical activity (revalidating physician specializing in respiratory rehabilitation) and certain connected medical devices (e.g. CPAP) both for my respiratory patients (COPD,...) and for my apneic and insomniac patients. I like to develop and propose a multidisciplinary care thanks to my network of therapists in the different structures and medical services in which I practice.
