Sportswoman and always interested in the human body and helping people, it was quite natural that I studied physiotherapy at the Leonard de Vinci high school. Graduating in 2022, I directly began a specialization in pelvi-perineology at UCL. I treat men and women both in general physiotherapy (orthopedics, sports injuries, geriatrics, etc.) and in abdominopelvic rehabilitation. Astrid de Bellefroid has been a professional physiotherapist since 2009. She studied at the Catholic University of Louvain and holds a master's degree in physiotherapy. She completed a dissertation on neurology, and the place of the object in neurological rehabilitation of the upper limb. She also worked in a medical center and in a private practice, in Berlin. She is a specialist in prenatal and postnatal physiotherapy, orthopedics and respiratory physiotherapy. You can find her at the Solilau medical center in Rosières, as well as at her private practice in Lasne.

Passionate about my profession, I have specialized over the years in 2 specific areas: manual therapy and pelvi perineology. In addition to my consultations in Liberchies, I also receive patients at the Jolimont hospital, where I work in close collaboration with various doctors/surgeons. Finally, I have been teaching for a few years at the Catholic University of Leuven and at Parnasse-Isei, to physiotherapists who wish to specialize in one of these two fields.

Passionate about the human body, I finished my physiotherapy studies at the Haute école libre de Bruxelles in June 2019 with great distinction. I worked in a nursing home, in a private practice (the alternative care and therapy center) as well as at the Bracops hospital on an outpatient basis and as an inpatient in the surgery department. I currently work in two offices located in Woluwe-Saint-Pierre and Evere. Trained in perineal and perinatal rehabilitation, I see you in my office for all pathologies linked to these spheres: urinary (incontinence, overactive bladder, etc.), anorectal (constipation, incontinence, etc.) and sexual (pain , vaginismus, etc.). I also support the woman in her maternity ward through preparation for childbirth and relief of pregnancy-related pain, and subsequently during active postnatal rehabilitation of the perineum and abdominal muscles. Diplômée de la Haute École Léonard de Vinci et formée en pelvi-périnéologie à l’UCL, je prends en charge les troubles de la sphère abdomino-pelvienne à chaque étape de la vie féminine : préparation au accouchement, rééducation post-partum, incontinence urinaire et/ou fécale, constipation, douleurs pelviennes et troubles de la statique pelvienne

Exerçant au sein d’un cabinet sportif et pratiquant l’athlétisme depuis plus de 10 ans, je suis particulièrement attentive aux problématiques périnéales des femmes sportives (fuites urinaires à l’effort, douleurs pelviennes) — une réalité que je connais de l’intérieur
