Je peux donc vous guider dans les soins de vos pathologies urinaires, fécales et gynécologiques pour les femmes, les hommes et les enfants. Pour rappel, ces pathologies sont fréquentes et n’ont pas à être tabou ! Ma porte sera toujours ouverte pour en parler avec vous. Graduated with a master's degree in physiotherapy and rehabilitation at UCL in 2015. In 2017, I specialized in the field of perineology and perinatality. Specialization in perineology allows me to take care of women of all ages presenting problems in the urogynecological sector. such as: - Urinary incontinence - Perineal pain - Sexological problem such as vaginismus and dyspareunia - Organ descent As for the perinatal sphere, it gives me the opportunity to support women during their pregnancy, in order to best prepare them for childbirth. After this, I help my patients in their journey as mothers to allow them to find a toned perineum and body in their daily life. The rehabilitation will then focus on the work of the perineum, the strengthening of the abdominal strap as well as an overall fitness... However, my activity is not limited to this area, I had the opportunity in the meantime to follow other training in various sectors allowing me to treat a wide range of pathologies in physiotherapy. (orthopedics and traumatology, post-operative, manual lymphatic drainage, global massage, etc.) I am someone who listens to my patients and I like to implement a treatment with them that will take into account the specificity of each one.

Trained in perineal and perinatal rehabilitation, I see you in my office for all pathologies linked to these spheres: urinary (incontinence, overactive bladder, etc.), anorectal (constipation, incontinence, etc.) and sexual (pain , vaginismus, etc.). I also support the woman in her maternity ward through preparation for childbirth and relief of pregnancy-related pain, and subsequently during active postnatal rehabilitation of the perineum and abdominal muscles. Graduated from the Free University of Brussels with great distinction, I practice general physiotherapy including modern and comprehensive care. Passionate about the functioning and capabilities of the human body, it is with kindness that I accompany you on your treatment journey. Dynamic and attentive, I will do my best to help you regain physical and mental well-being.

Passionate about perinatality and gynecology, I mainly consult for future and young mothers as well as for pathologies of the pelvic sphere, in particular endometriosis, a subject in which I am very involved with awareness and research projects. I also practice physical therapy for musculoskeletal disorders (sprains, fractures, post-operation, low back pain, neck pain, tendinopathy...) and I am specialized in the treatment of runners. In parallel to the Mimosa Center, I work at the Molière-Longchamp hospital in the orthopedic outpatient department as well as in the Therapeos practice dedicated to women (childbirth preparation, pregnancy-related pain, post-natal rehabilitation, pain and perineal disorders, sports support). In order to provide you with the most adapted and optimal support possible, I am constantly looking for new scientific and practical training and information. I will do my utmost to ensure that your rehabilitation is carried out in a climate of confidence and serenity.

Astrid de Bellefroid has been a professional physiotherapist since 2009. She studied at the Catholic University of Louvain and holds a master's degree in physiotherapy. She completed a dissertation on neurology, and the place of the object in neurological rehabilitation of the upper limb. She also worked in a medical center and in a private practice, in Berlin. She is a specialist in prenatal and postnatal physiotherapy, orthopedics and respiratory physiotherapy.
