Graduated in physiotherapy from ULB in 2021. I practice general physiotherapy including orthopedic (muscle, joint) and trauma (accident and operation) physiotherapy. My physiotherapy sessions are motivated by the desire to allow my patients to regain their autonomy and optimal physical capacity.

With 14 years experience as a physiotherapist at the foot of the Austrian mountains, I have now decided to continue my work in Belgium. 

I've continually developed and trained in the field of orthopaedics, surgery and traumatology.

I am specialised in manual therapy, sports physiotherapy and lymphatic drainage. 

I'm passionate about my work and want to use my knowledge and expertise to support and guide you in your rehabilitation. 

I'm fluent in German and English and have a good level of French, which I'm improving on a daily basis.

Holder of a master's degree in physiotherapy and rehabilitation from the Free University of Brussels in 2016, I was able to work in different establishments (rest home, polyclinic and medical homes) and with different age groups including adolescents, adults and seniors. I am dedicated, attentive to my patients and very involved in understanding the bio-psycho-social aspect of any pathology in order to ensure optimal treatment. Professionalism, respect, dynamism and good humor are the pillars on which my care is based. I also work with people suffering from musculoskeletal pathologies (sprains, contusions, bursitis, tendinopathy, herniated discs), traumatological (fractures, dislocations), rheumatological (low back pain, neck pain, fibromyalgia), respiratory (respiratory revalidation in adults), neurological (rehabilitation after a transient ischemic attack TIA or cerebrovascular accident CVA), circulatory (lymphedema, venous insufficiency), vestibular (benign paroxysmal positional vertigo BPPV) and disorders of the TMJ temporomandibular joint (bruxism, masseteritis). There is no pain whose cause is obvious and immediately attributable to a localized dysfunction. Often the origin of the pain is to be found in areas other than those affected. For example, a common backache may result from excessive fatigue in the foot or a malfunctioning jaw. Similarly, would you ever have imagined that overloading the intestines can induce headaches? Our body is a machine with complex gears and countless transmission belts. Holder of a D.O in osteopathy obtained with Great Distinction, Jean-Philippe ORMOND completed his 6 years of studies at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB). He practices a medical osteopathy which mainly addresses dysfunctions of the locomotor system and the peripheral nervous system but also digestive or jaw problems. He treats adults, pregnant women, athletes, the elderly and children (but not babies). Passionate about the biomechanics of the body as well as human anatomy, he has coached young students at the University in order to prepare them for their exams. Approved by the Belgian mutualities.
