Ayant grandi dans une famille de sportifs, le sport a toujours été au cœur de ma vie. J’apprécie profondément le contact humain, ce qui me permet d’être à l’écoute de chacun de mes patients.

Graduated with a master in physiotherapy from the Leonardo da Vinci / Parnasse-Isei high school, the physiotherapist Melanie Van Wassenhove practices at the Take'in Care paramedical center (brusselsesteenweg 159, 3080 Tervuren) and also does home visits on request of her patients. Her qualities and skills allow her to take care of sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, back pain, joint pain, neurological and respiratory pathologies in children. Je suis kinésithérapeute depuis octobre 2023 et j’exerce en cabinet avec une pratique axée sur la kinésithérapie générale.

En parallèle, je me spécialise en rééducation oro-maxillo-faciale et vestivulo-occulaire, un domaine qui me passionne et que je continue d’explorer pour enrichir ma prise en charge.

As a registered physiotherapist, I attach great importance to an individualized and holistic treatment of each of my patients. I take care of sports, post-operative/traumatological, rheumatological and perineal pathologies, as well as rehabilitations in the pool (only possible in Ixelles). Possibility to do home visits as well. After obtaining my diploma, I was quickly fascinated by the intelligence of the body and its capacity of self-healing, I thus left to explore the countries of Nepal and India to understand other ways of taming a pathology and to mark this undeniable link between the body and the spirit. I have been a yoga teacher for 3 years and have started new trainings in 2020, notably in Chinese Energy Medicine and Microkinetics. Je prends en charge tous types de pathologies en kinésithérapie générale, avec pour objectif de vous accompagner vers une récupération optimale et durable. Je suis à votre écoute pour élaborer un traitement adapté à vos besoins, votre bien-être est ma priorité.

Physiotherapist graduated from the Haute École Ilya Prigogine in Brussels. Throughout my academic career, I have had the opportunity to explore various areas of physiotherapy, including pediatrics, geriatrics, neurology, musculoskeletal disorders, hand rehabilitation, abdominal rehabilitation, and many others. I am currently preparing for two training courses: one focusing on dys disorders in children and adolescents, and the other focused on hand rehabilitation. As a physiotherapist, I currently work in two centers: the Care Happy Center in Uccle and the June Medical Center in Tubize. My main goal as a professional is to provide high quality care and seek sustainable solutions for each patient, constantly keeping myself informed and adapting my approaches individually.

Having obtained a master's degree in physical education at the Free University of Brussels, I naturally moved towards physiotherapy and rehabilitation, a discipline in which I graduated in 2022. While working, I undertook a specialization master's degree in sports physiotherapy in order to combine the two professions. This concluded positively in 2023. The different skills acquired allow me, if necessary, to offer my patients a specific rehabilitation program. Dynamic and attentive, I also take care of different types of pathology: orthopedics, traumatology, cardio-respiratory revalidation, geriatrics, neurology, etc.
