Spécialisation en médecine familiale à l'UB au Barcelone et à l'Institut catalan de la santé en 2011, dans lequel j'ai passé 12 ans d'expérience l'ICDS en tant que généraliste, à partir de 2019 Gériatrie dans le service de réadaptation en Belgique. My name is Francisco Toscano Jimenez , I am a Spanish national, raised in Germany and educated in the United Kingdom. Different countries and cultures have been a part of my life since early childhood, upbringing and throughout my studies and professional life. My professional development began in the mid 1990 when I started with the interest in the sciences of health and sport. What began as an hobby become a vocation of life. My initial training in Manuel Therapy and Sport physiotherapy were the first steps in my professional path. After a few years of practice in Germany I saw my interest growing towards a broader and deeper understanding of the human body. Understanding health as more than the absence of symptoms lead me to conclude that Osteopathy was providing with the answers to many of my questions. I come to realize and understand Osteopathy as a true biological science. My journey of Osteopathy started in England where I completed a honours degree in Osteopathic Medicine, BSc Hons. Ost. Med. in 2006. After years in private practice in England and Spain I have recently chosen to move to the country of origin of my wife. From 2008-218 I have provided postgraduate programs, lectures, conferences in Classical Osteopathy and a publication on Fascia. Osteopathy has provided me with wonderful teachings and learning possibilities in countries like Sweden, Italy, Portugal, Spain and beyond the Atlantic. Osteopathy has no borders or boundaries! Understanding and treating the human body as a whole rather than as a sum of parts has been my personal dedication and interest in clinical practice and experience over the last 25 years. Integration of the structural and functional balance of the body is the basis of the process in natural therapeutics. This fundamental principal of natural therapeutics provides Osteopathy the capacity to support the human body in the process from unhealth to health.

Pendant mon assistanat j’ai eu la chance de travailler dans deux cabinets de géniaux (à Court-Saint-Etienne et à Anderlecht) ainsi que dans le service de gériatrie du Grand Hôpital de Charleroi et le service des urgences de l’Hôpital Universitaire des Enfants Reine Fabiola. 

Ces expériences m’ont permis de me former dans toute une série d’aspects de la médecine générale et j’espère pouvoir mettre tout cela en oeuvre pour vous aider de mon mieux. 

I graduated in physical therapy and rehabilitation at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (2016), I am also specialized in manual therapy and I am currently studying osteopathy at the BELSO. I am still interested in many training projects such as acupuncture among others. I also attend many seminars throughout the year and keep myself regularly informed of new discoveries in the fields of physical therapy and osteopathy. Since 2016, I have been practicing at the Molière-Longchamp hospital in the orthopedic/rheumatology outpatient department as well as in the orthopedic-neurological outpatient revalidation department. I am also in charge of the "Back School" program which started in 2021 in the same hospital. I am a registered therapist and therefore apply the current INAMI rates. I have been part of TEAM BELGIUM since 2008 and participate in various high-level sporting events such as the Olympics, YOG, EYOF, EG, WG.
