After completing his studies in physiotherapy at UCL in 2016, Valérian De Clerck continued his academic career with 5 years of osteopathy at the IAO. He has been practicing in Gembloux as a D.O osteopath since 2021. He makes a point of first considering the medical aspect of his examination of the patient, before providing an osteopathic response only if it is relevant.

Laura Bousson is a professional osteopath since 2017. She studied respectively at the Catholic University of Louvain-la-Neuve and at the International Academy Of osteopathy. Her different trainings have earned her a Master's degree in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation since 2012 and a D.O. Osteopathy diploma in 2017. During her training, Laura Bousson had to realize a thesis on the impact of smoking behavior on perioperative complications in physical therapy. She also completed a dissertation on osteopathic treatment in the management of patients with osteoarthritis of the knee. To reinforce her skills, Laura Bousson has worked in several practices and structures. These include a personal practice in Jette BXL, Womens Medical Center, Cabinet Jasmine Leleu. She is also a teacher and assistant at the International Academy of Osteopathy. Laura Bousson is specialized in General Osteopathy, Pre- and Post-natal Osteopathy and Pediatric Osteopathy. Committed to her passion for osteopathy, she occasionally writes articles on her blog to pass on information to patients. She also supervises theses at the International Academy of Osteopathy. Elle a décidé de se réorienter et a voulu en savoir plus sur le corps humain et son fonctionnement. Par conséquent, elle est retournée à l'université à 29 ans pour devenir chiropraticienne. Impliquée dans le sport depuis un très jeune âge, j'ai toujours été passionnée par le corps humain et ses réactions face aux blessures et dérèglements dont il peut être affecté. Très vite, j'ai été attirée par la kinésithérapie pour le contact humain et cet attrait du corps. J'ai ensuite voulu m'orienter vers l'ostéopathie pour son approche plus holistique, la prise en considération du patient dans sa globalité, en être entièrement à l'écoute pour l'aider au mieux.

Having graduated with a master's degree in physiotherapy, I decided to complete my training with a specialized master's degree in the management of musculoskeletal disorders and with a university certificate in manual therapy this year. I have a great interest in musculoskeletal pathologies (joints, muscles, etc.) as well as sports-related pathologies, in connection with my passion for physical activity and more specifically for dance! For more than ten years, I have been practicing breaking (or breakdancing), a physical discipline with an artistic and creative aspect. It was therefore quite natural that I turned to physiotherapy, which focuses on movements and the body in a similar way to dance.
