Diplômé d'un Master en kinésithérapie en 2024 à la HELB (Haute Ecole libre de Bruxelles) passionné par le corps humain et le mouvement, je vous accompagne tout au long de votre revalidation. Ensemble, nous mettons en place un bilan complet et nous élaborons ensuite un plan de traitement progressif, adapté à vos besoins et basé sur des principes fondés.

Je prends en charge tout types de pathologies en kinésithérapie générale. Mon objectif concret est de vous mener et vous accompagner vers les meilleurs résultats possible et durable qui correspondent à vos attentes !

Sports physiotherapist (BFSP-GOLD) and manual therapist (IFOMPT), I specialize in the management of back problems and sports-related conditions. My patients appreciate my attentive approach and commitment to their recovery. Member of the medical team of Ligue Belge Francophone d'Athlétisme, I am currently pursuing my doctoral thesis part-time at UCLouvain, focusing on manual therapy in the context of lateral ankle sprains.

Graduated with distinction from HELB in physiotherapy, I have been passionate about this profession since I was very young. My academic career has been enriched by numerous internships in various healthcare environments, notably in nursing homes, hospitals and in physiotherapy practices. I like human contact, whether with children, adults or the elderly. I quickly discovered my passion for end-of-life support and pediatrics and I aspire to specialize in these areas to bring a more rigorous approach and greater comfort to my practice. My approach as a physiotherapist is characterized by my deep empathy, my positive dynamic, my ability to reassure patients and my rigor in my care. My ultimate goal is to contribute to the well-being and health of my patients while creating a warm and safe environment for their rehabilitation. Passionné par la kinésithérapie, je prends en charge les pathologies générales musculo-squelettiques, les pathologies neurologiques, les douleurs chroniques (lombalgies, fibromyalgie, sciatalgies, cervico-brachialgies…) ainsi que les pathologies orthopédiques (scoliose, prothèse de hanche, de genou, épaules…), pathologies respiratoires, lymphatiques…

La kinésithérapie générale couvre de nombreux domaines permettant de répondre à une large variété de besoins.

Afin de vous offrir la prise en charge la plus adaptée, nous commencerons par une anamnèse. Les traitements peuvent être passifs (mobilisations, techniques manuelles) ou actifs (exercices de revalidation), et sont combinés lorsque cela est nécessaire pour optimiser les chances de progrès.

J’accorde une importance particulière à la prise en charge globale du patient, à l’écoute, à la qualité du suivi et à la personnalisation des soins, afin de vous accompagner vers plus d’autonomie et de bien-être.

Diplômée d’un master en kinésithérapie et passionnée par le bien être, en particulier dans le domaine des pathologies féminines, je suis actuellement en cours de spécialisation en uro-gynécologie et gymnastique médicale type « PILATES ».

Je propose également des visites à domicile sur Waterloo.

Mes compétences s’étendent aux troubles musculo-squelettiques (entorse, fracture, lombalgie, cervicalgie, etc…), à l’accompagnement post-partum, à la kinésithérapie respiratoire pour adultes, à l’hydrothérapie et à la gériatrie.

Physiotherapist Thibault MATHIEU graduated with a Master's degree in physiotherapy from the Haute Ecole Libre de Bruxelles (HELB). I have a great interest in musculoskeletal pathologies (joints, muscles, etc.) as well as sports-related pathologies, in connection with my passion for physical activity and more specifically for dance! For more than ten years, I have been practicing breaking (or breakdancing), a physical discipline with an artistic and creative aspect. It was therefore quite natural that I turned to physiotherapy, which focuses on movements and the body in a similar way to dance. Je propose une prise en charge personnalisée, adaptée aux besoins et aux objectifs de chaque patient, alliant travail manuel et rééducation active pour traiter les douleurs aiguës ou chroniques, la rééducation post-opératoire, les troubles musculo-squelettiques et la prévention, tout en favorisant le mouvement, la confiance et l’implication tout au long du traitement.
