I am a clinical psychologist recognized by the commission of psychologists (approval number: 912221778). I obtained my degree in psychology (research section) in 2014 at the ULiège. I continued my studies with a master in criminology obtained in 2016. After a year spent working in the field of youth work as a criminologist I realized that I felt hindered in the help I could provide. Therefore, I decided to take a final year of study in adult clinical psychology in order to be able to offer psychological follow-up for individuals, couples or families and to get as close as possible to the human character of the helping relationship. I am currently working at the Psy Pluriel center in Liege where I offer follow-ups for adults from 18 years old. I am trained in cognitive-behavioral therapy but I also have the skills and tools to adapt to the requests and the people who ask for help. The help I offer covers different issues such as anxiety disorders (generalized anxiety, social anxiety, OCD, phobias ...), work on self-confidence / self-esteem / self-affirmation, stress management, emotional dependence, interpersonal problems or any other subject that concerns the person. I am also trained in EMDR which is a therapy centered on trauma, it allows to soothe the emotional knots resulting from one or more traumatic events in order to be able to integrate this into one's life path. I work mainly with individuals. Couple or family sessions are also possible. Passionate about my work, I am constantly training myself, in the "to come" section you can see my imminent projects. What can a psychological follow-up bring to you ? First of all, an attentive, neutral and benevolent ear. Indeed, the psychologist is a neutral person who will listen to you without judging you. This will allow you to put your feelings into words, in a way that will allow you to objectify them, to take a step back and to find courses of action in the company of a neutral third party and in a neutral place as well. It is true that it can be pleasant and reassuring to confide in friends or family, but they know you and even with the best of intentions they may see your situation with filters concerning what they know about you. Sometimes they live with you, so there may be biases on their side and you may be reluctant to describe your situation for fear of offending someone, for example. A psychologist does not know you and has no preconceived ideas about you, this new perspective is a real asset. Depuis près de 30 ans, j'accueille à ma consultation adolescents, adultes, couples, familles, personnes présentant un handicap et professionnels de la santé mentale pour des difficultés de vie et des souffrances diverses plus ou moins graves. Je propose un espace de paroles et de réflexions afin de déposer, comprendre, dépasser celles-ci et d'y apporter les réponses les plus adéquates possibles selon chacun.

Psychologue clinicien de formation, je propose principalement des thérapies analytiques, des thérapies de type cognitivo-comportemental et systémiques.  Je suis également formé à la prise en charge individuelle et collective des traumatismes psychiques qui peuvent intervenir après un événement à fort retentissement émotionnel. 

Mon expérience de plus de 20 ans m’a amené à travailler autour de nombreuses problématiques : troubles anxieux, dépendances, difficultés conjugales, troubles relationnels, deuils, toutes formes de situation de victimisation (agressions sexuelles, violences conjugales,  traumas…), burn-out, difficultés dans la sphère professionnelle, gestion du stress.

Je suis fortement sensibilisé aux questions concernant l’identité et/ou l’identité sexuelle. 

Je propose des accompagnements qui s’adressent à des adultes, des adolescents et des couples.  

Diplômée en psychologie sociale et passionnée par les comportements humains, je propose un accompagnement pour chaque personne qui traverse des difficultés au cours de sa vie. Aider les personnes qui rencontrent des difficultés et leur apporter un accompagnement adapté est un plaisir.

J'aime énormément comprendre le fonctionnement de chacun avec son propre mécanisme. Je suis intimement convaincue que sur base de cette compréhension, cela permet de déceler chaque problème à son origine. Mon objectif est que chaque personne puisse se sentir soutenue et comprise dans un cadre bienveillant et apaisant.

J’oriente mon aide sur base d’une anamnèse, de dessin, de l’écrit (pour les enfants) et de la parole pour optimiser l’expression des difficultés de chacun.

J'accompagne les personnes qui présentent des difficultés relationnelles, de l'anxiété, de la phobie sociale, des problèmes d'estime de soi, de confiance en soi, la dépression, la peur du regard des autres, des problèmes familiaux, etc. (liste non-exhaustive).

Psychologue clinicienne diplômée de l’Université Libre de Bruxelles, je suis titulaire d’un master en psychologie clinique et psychopathologie.

Je reçois des adultes, adolescents et couples pour un accompagnement psychologique adapté à chaque situation et chaque personnalité.

Je suis spécialisée dans la prise en charge des addictions, des troubles du comportement alimentaire, ainsi que dans la gestion du stress, de l’anxiété et des difficultés relationnelles ou familiales.

Mon approche est intégrative, ce qui me permet d’adapter mes outils thérapeutiques à la demande et aux besoins spécifiques de chacun.

En parallèle, étant également coach sportif, j’intègre lorsque cela est pertinent une dimension psychocorporelle au suivi. Cette approche permet de reconnecter l’esprit et le corps, notamment dans les problématiques liées à l’image de soi, à la régulation émotionnelle ou à la reconstruction après un traumatisme.

Chaque accompagnement est unique : je veille à proposer un espace bienveillant, sécurisant et dynamique pour vous aider à mieux vous comprendre, à surmonter vos difficultés et à retrouver un équilibre personnel.

I am 46 years old and I am a systemic psychologist/psychotherapist. I work mainly with couples and families, but also with individuals. The people who have consulted me say that I am a gentle, calm person and that I am very invested in the interviews. They also say that I am atypical compared to the psychologist colleagues they have known, and that this characteristic is experienced in a very positive way for them. When I presented my family and personal history in my second year of postgraduate training in systemic psychology, one of the things that Ms. E. Goldbeter said to me was, "You sound like you're telling the story of a 70-year-old man, when you're only 36. You have done a lot of things in life...". Indeed, I am 46 years old and I am now a psychologist, a psychotherapist, since two years a lecturer at the University of Liege as an expert in psychology, a photographer and a musician, who puts together his different life experiences to try to make them useful in psychological meetings. I often use metaphor, humor, but also music, photography, and many other things in order to make the suffering situation presented to me as simple, clear, explicit and intelligible as possible for everyone. This collective understanding is often linked to the beginning of the resolution of the problem(s). When couples, families or individuals come to my office, I always explain to them certain points to which I pay particular attention: communication, emotions, family history, the feeling of justice and injustice experienced between people. Cynthia Delville is a clinical psychologist (UCLouvain) and psychotherapist in brief systemic therapy and humanistic approach. She is trained in Ericksonian hypnosis, hippotherapy and art therapy. Throughout her career, she proposes a plural space with verbal and psycho-corporal approaches and the work of emotion regulation. Creative media, movement and dance are approached to facilitate personal expression and access to resources. As a hippotherapist, Cynthia also offers consultations in the observation of the relationship with the horse and in nature. She accompanies with flexibility in order to find the introspective images that will encourage inner reconnection: to oneself, to others and to the body.
