Passionate about the human body for as long as I can remember, I studied physiotherapy at the ULB before completing my training with 5 years of osteopathy at the CBO. As a sportsman since childhood (tennis, French boxing, running, crossfit), I like to use the knowledge acquired in these disciplines to enrich my professional practice. For me, continuing education is essential, which is why I participate in many seminars in the field of pediatrics, muscular chain, visceral, cranio-sacral and so on. Astrid de Bellefroid has been a professional physiotherapist since 2009. She studied at the Catholic University of Louvain and holds a master's degree in physiotherapy. She completed a dissertation on neurology, and the place of the object in neurological rehabilitation of the upper limb. She also worked in a medical center and in a private practice, in Berlin. She is a specialist in prenatal and postnatal physiotherapy, orthopedics and respiratory physiotherapy. You can find her at the Solilau medical center in Rosières, as well as at her private practice in Lasne.

Approved osteopath (mutual reimbursement). Graduated from the Free University of Brussels with great distinction. My clinical practice is based on my anatomical and physiological knowledge and mainly addresses disorders of the musculoskeletal system. I use a wide variety of manipulative and non-manipulative techniques, which allows me to adapt to your needs and preferences. Diplômé de l'Université Libre de Bruxelles, j’ai suivi un cursus complet de 6 ans en ostéopathie, comprenant un master et un master complémentaire, ainsi qu’un master en kinésithérapie dans la même faculté. Mon parcours académique et mon expérience clinique m’ont permis de développer une expertise approfondie en anatomie et en analyse des douleurs musculo-squelettiques.

Lors de chaque consultation, je propose une approche globale et personnalisée, en tenant compte des spécificités de chaque patient. Que ce soit pour des douleurs de dos (cervicales, lombaires, thoraciques), des blocages articulaires ou des tensions musculaires, je mets en œuvre des techniques adaptées pour vous apporter un soulagement durable et améliorer votre mobilité selon une démarche médicale.

Je commence chaque séance par une évaluation attentive de votre état de santé et des possibles origines de vos douleurs. Holder of a master's degree in physiotherapy and rehabilitation from the Free University of Brussels in 2016, I was able to work in different establishments (rest home, polyclinic and medical homes) and with different age groups including adolescents, adults and seniors. I am dedicated, attentive to my patients and very involved in understanding the bio-psycho-social aspect of any pathology in order to ensure optimal treatment. Professionalism, respect, dynamism and good humor are the pillars on which my care is based. I also work with people suffering from musculoskeletal pathologies (sprains, contusions, bursitis, tendinopathy, herniated discs), traumatological (fractures, dislocations), rheumatological (low back pain, neck pain, fibromyalgia), respiratory (respiratory revalidation in adults), neurological (rehabilitation after a transient ischemic attack TIA or cerebrovascular accident CVA), circulatory (lymphedema, venous insufficiency), vestibular (benign paroxysmal positional vertigo BPPV) and disorders of the TMJ temporomandibular joint (bruxism, masseteritis). Graduated with a master's degree in physiotherapy and rehabilitation at UCL in 2015. In 2017, I specialized in the field of perineology and perinatality. Specialization in perineology allows me to take care of women of all ages presenting problems in the urogynecological sector. such as: - Urinary incontinence - Perineal pain - Sexological problem such as vaginismus and dyspareunia - Organ descent As for the perinatal sphere, it gives me the opportunity to support women during their pregnancy, in order to best prepare them for childbirth. After this, I help my patients in their journey as mothers to allow them to find a toned perineum and body in their daily life. The rehabilitation will then focus on the work of the perineum, the strengthening of the abdominal strap as well as an overall fitness... However, my activity is not limited to this area, I had the opportunity in the meantime to follow other training in various sectors allowing me to treat a wide range of pathologies in physiotherapy. (orthopedics and traumatology, post-operative, manual lymphatic drainage, global massage, etc.) I am someone who listens to my patients and I like to implement a treatment with them that will take into account the specificity of each one.

Passionate about sports, I hold a Master's degree in Kinesitherapy and am able to take care of all your musculoskeletal disorders (tendinopathies, fractures, muscle injuries, sprains, ...), neurological, respiratory or other, as well as to accompany you during a post-operative rehabilitation. I am also trained in lymphatic and manual drainage, and am currently training in sports physiotherapy.
