Diplômé à l’ULB en 2019 et ayant un atrait pour le sport, j’ai directement suivi un master complémentaire en pathologie sportive que j’ai terminé en 2020. Par la suite j’ai également suivi une formation en kinésithérapie de la main. J’ai travaillé dans beaucoup de différents domaines pour aujourd’hui me consacrer pleinement à la kinésithérapie orthopédique, traumatologique et sportive. As a registered physiotherapist, I attach great importance to an individualized and holistic treatment of each of my patients. I take care of sports, post-operative/traumatological, rheumatological and perineal pathologies, as well as rehabilitations in the pool (only possible in Ixelles). Possibility to do home visits as well. After obtaining my diploma, I was quickly fascinated by the intelligence of the body and its capacity of self-healing, I thus left to explore the countries of Nepal and India to understand other ways of taming a pathology and to mark this undeniable link between the body and the spirit. Diplômé en kinésithérapie générale en 2022, j'ai poursuivi ma formation par un master de spécialisation en douleurs musculo-squelettiques à l’Université catholique de Louvain, ce qui m’a permis de développer une expertise approfondie dans l’évaluation et la prise en charge des troubles musculo-squelettiques. 

J’ai également approfondi mes compétences grâce à une formation organisée par l’Université de Montréal sur le raisonnement clinique me donnant les outils nécessaires pour analyser de manière rigoureuse chaque problématique. J'accorde donc une importance capitale au bilan clinique réalisé lors de la première séance !

Je suis spécialisé plus particulièrement dans les douleurs du dos, des hanches et des genoux, ainsi que dans la rééducation des blessures sportive.

Mon approche combine des techniques manuelles, des exercices spécifiques et de l'éducation thérapeutique, afin de soulager la douleur, restaurer la fonction et éviter les récidives.

Sportif amateur, j’ai pratiqué différents sports tels que la course à pied, le beach-volley, le football, la natation et le tennis.

Emilie Parent is a graduate of Parnasse-ISEI. She obtained a master's degree in physical therapy in 2020. She mainly treats orthopedic injuries (fractures, sports injuries, low back pain, ...) but is also qualified for neurological physiotherapy (post-stroke, tetra/para-plegia, Parkinson's, ...), cardiovascular physiotherapy as well as for all types of exercise training. She also practices Dry Needling to treat trigger points. She is also interested in peri-natal support.
