Kenza Berkaine, Osteopath D.O., graduated from the Université Libre de Bruxelles after a training organized within the Faculty of Motor Sciences in partnership with the Faculty of Medicine. This medical, clinical and practical training allows me to understand my patients' ailments in a global way. In order to best adapt to the specific needs of each patient, I use muscular, articular, myofascial and/or visceral techniques. I have also trained in cupping, trigger point therapy, digipressure and Reiki energy treatments in order to add other tools to complement and/or adapt the proposed treatment. I am a member of the Professional Union of Osteopaths of Belgium, which guarantees a continuous training. I have always had a great interest in sports and horses. I am currently training in equine osteopathy. Passionné par le corps humain et par son fonctionnement depuis tout petit, j’ai décidé d’entreprendre des études de kinésithérapie à l’ISEK, Haute Ecole de kinésithérapie. Désireux d’aller toujours plus loin dans la compréhension du corps humain, j’ai décidé d’entamer des études d’Ostéopathie au Collège Belge d’Ostéopathie (CBO) en 2015 afin d’avoir une approche plus globale du patient tout en le conseillant. L’Ostéopathie peut se définir comme une médecine manuelle s’adressant aux troubles fonctionnels du corps humain. Elle repose sur l’utilisation du contact manuel pour le diagnostic et le traitement. Elle place l’accent sur l’intégrité structurelle et fonctionnelle du corps ainsi que sa capacité à s’auto-guérir.
