From a young age, I have been passionated about the human body and how it functions.

It was therefore a natural choice for me to study osteopathy, driven by a genuine desire to help people and relieve their discomfort. Over the course of my practice, I have developed a clinical approach that is precise, holistic, and patient-centered.

My training at ULB, along with my experiences both in private practice and in a hospital setting, taught me the importance of a personalized approach and collaboration between healthcare professionals.

I place great value on listening, empathy, and tailoring care to each patient’s needs, ensuring that everyone feels heard and understood.

I continue to pursue ongoing training to provide care that is effective, safe, and supported by the latest scientific knowledge.

I hold a Master’s degree in physiotherapy, specialising in the upper body, and I am passionate about treating patients with orthopaedic conditions, ranging from neck pain to lower back pain, including elbow tendonitis.

As a young and dynamic physiotherapist, I am fully committed to supporting my patients with kindness and attentiveness. My working method is based on a patient-centred approach, aiming to provide personalised care tailored to each clinical situation.

I am available at three practices: in Ixelles, in Kraainem and at Uperform in Wezembeek-Oppem.

Amélie Truong has been a qualified physiotherapist at VUB with great distinction since June 2022. In addition to general physiotherapy, she is specialized in respiratory, cardiovascular and oncological physiotherapy in both children and adults. Le coeur de ma pratique est de prendre le temps d’écouter, de comprendre et d’accompagner. Formé en ostéopathie à l’Université libre de Bruxelles, j’ai choisi ce métier par passion pour le corps humain et par envie d’aider chacun à retrouver équilibre et un bien-être quotidien.

Mon approche repose sur une alliance entre mon expertise scientifique et écoute attentive de vos besoins. Chaque personne est unique, et chaque séance l’est tout autant.

Hello, I am a DO osteopath graduated in 2022 from the Free University of Brussels and osteopath of the federal Taekwondo team. I started studying the human body and care 13 years ago. I took my first steps in the field of health in midwifery (midwifery) for 3 years. It was a great experience, where I was able to support pregnancies, but also deliver newborns and follow their progress. 7 years ago, I reoriented myself to be able to investigate care through my hands. As an osteopath, I treat musculoskeletal and peripheral neurological disorders of mechanical origin. These mechanical problems have a cause! To find it, an initial discussion will allow me to know more about your pain (How did it appear? What are the characteristics of your pain?). We will take the time to explore your health and medical history. Following this, we will proceed to the physical, clinical and neurological examination supplemented by orthopedic tests in order to best identify the cause of the pain in an algo-mechanical logic. The succession of these stages will allow us to move on to osteopathic treatment and/or medical reorientation towards other specialties. If manipulation proves necessary, it will be carried out with your consent, in a safe manner and in a pain-free manner according to Dr. Robert Maigne. Located in Forest, on the border of Ixelles, St-Gilles and Uccle, Claire is oriented towards the care of musculoskeletal pain. She receives you for orthopedic treatments, post-operation, scoliosis, or for global muscular reinforcement in prevention of sports injuries. She is particularly interested in shoulder pain, low back pain and neck pain as well as issues related to chronic pain. Trained and certified in STOTT Pilates, she incorporates it into her treatments in order to help patients strengthen their muscles and develop their proprioception. Her goal is to bring people to know their body better and to use it without fear. She regularly trains and questions herself in order to provide her patients with treatments that are validated by the scientific community while being oriented by her own qualities as well as by the individuality of each patient. She transmits her knowledge to the patient and guides him/her in order to make him/her autonomous in his/her treatment and to keep the acquired knowledge beyond the consultation period.
