I am a Clinical Psychologist, accredited by the Commission of Psychologists. I graduated from the Université Libre de Bruxelles in June 2010. I am specialized in perinatal support and parenting support. I also accompany any person wishing to work on themselves or going through a period of difficulty (bereavement, break-up, burn-out, depression, loss of employment, illness, relationship difficulties, ...) For more than ten years, I have worked in the accompaniment of children and parents in various crèches, schools and day-care centers linked to the European institutions of Brussels. These structures in which I had the opportunity to evolve welcomed a very large number of children and therefore parents, which allowed me to develop and enrich my experience in the field. My passions have always been people and their relationships. I communicate easily and I enjoy taking care of the people around me. I have chosen to dedicate my daily life to improving the quality of life of people who need it. I am continuously training myself through conferences, readings, interdisciplinary exchanges and supervisions, and this with the aim of always meeting the different expectations of my patients. Je suis psychologue clinicienne d’orientation humaniste. J’accompagne les adultes qui souhaitent mieux comprendre ce qu’ils traversent et trouver un équilibre plus apaisant dans leur vie.

Mon approche s’adapte à chaque personne : à son rythme, à son histoire, à ses besoins. J’accorde une grande importance à la bienveillance, à l’écoute et à la confiance qui se construit au fil des rencontres.

Dans mes accompagnements, j’utilise également des outils concrets, comme des exercices de respiration ou d’attention aux sensations corporelles, pour apaiser les tensions et permettre au corps d’exprimer ce que les mots ne disent pas toujours.

Mon souhait est d’offrir un espace simple et chaleureux, où l’on peut déposer ce que l’on vit et traverser les événements du quotidien avec un peu plus de douceur.

Bonjour à toutes et à tous, je suis psychologue clinicienne et je travaille avec des adultes dès l’âge de 18 ans. Une citation que j’aime beaucoup : « Mettre des mots sur ses maux ». En effet, je pense que pouvoir parler de ses émotions ainsi que ses difficultés dans un cadre bienveillant ; où non-jugement, respect de l’autre, secret professionnel règnent, permet d’apaiser certaines souffrances et d’apprendre à comprendre ses ressentis ainsi que son fonctionnement. Mon objectif est de créer une alliance thérapeutique dans laquelle vous vous sentirez écouté et dans laquelle les aléas de la vie pourront être abordés (maladie, décès, stress, anxiété, burn-out, dépression, sexualité, difficultés relationnelles et affectives, rupture, divorce, addictions, etc.). J’accueille avec plaisir toute personne désireuse d’apprendre à mieux se connaître. Je m’appelle Severine et je suis maman de deux enfants déjà adolescents maintenant. Diplômée de l’ULB, je suis psychologue clinicienne et sexologue (SSUB). Je travaille en milieu scolaire depuis 20 ans et j’ai aussi une expérience en planning familial, en espace-rencontre ainsi qu’en consultation privée psychologique et sexologique de plus de 10 ans. Je suis passionnée par les relations humaines et particulièrement par cette étape de vie qu’est l’arrivée d’un enfant. C’est une période intense et forte où peuvent revenir à la surface des émotions de notre propre enfance et où chacun doit trouver une nouvelle place dans la famille. Parfois ces changements sont difficiles à vivre. Parfois aussi les choses ne se passent pas comme on l’aurait rêvé (anxiété, dépression, naissance prématurée, handicap, maladie, deuil…) L’intimité et la sexualité du couple sont parfois aussi impactées par la traversée de cette étape si particulière. Toute la sexualité peut y être chamboulée : dans notre rapport à soi et à notre corps, dans notre rapport à l’autre (créant parfois des difficultés de communication et de connexions intimes), ou encore dans ces nouveaux rôles qui s’imposent à nous et nous placent dans un nouvel équilibre familial et intime à construire. Je vous propose un lieu de parole et de soutien dans cette belle aventure. Aucun parcours de naissance ne se ressemble, nous cheminerons ensemble dans vos questionnements, vos doutes, dans vos chagrins, dans vos peurs et cela à votre rythme. I consult every Monday afternoon from 1pm to 6pm at Rue de Tenbosch 85, office n°4. My main objective is to provide psychological support to my patients, using attentive and empathetic listening.

Using an integrative approach that reconciles psychoanalysis, behavioral and humanistic therapies, I propose that we work together in the understanding and resolution of problematic situations. Understanding the conceptual and cultural framework of others is the basis of the work I propose to undertake. Having worked in Latin America and practicing with expatriates, I attach particular importance to language, which can bring valuable subtleties to the therapeutic work. I receive in French as well as in Portuguese. The modalities and rhythm of the sessions will be determined during the first meetings where we will be able to identify the nature of the problem. I receive clients at the Mimosa Center in Brussels on Mondays and Saturdays for individual, family or couple counselling. My consultations are aimed at teenagers, adults and elderly people to whom I offer home follow-ups if necessary.
