The physiotherapist, Frédéric Weerlitzer, specialized in orthopedics, traumatology and sports pathologies, graduated from the HELB in 2000. He has been a physical therapist at the RSCA training center since 2005. He welcomes you at the Kio Medical Center every day by appointment.

Having graduated with a master's degree in physiotherapy, I decided to complete my training with a specialized master's degree in the management of musculoskeletal disorders and with a university certificate in manual therapy this year. I have a great interest in musculoskeletal pathologies (joints, muscles, etc.) as well as sports-related pathologies, in connection with my passion for physical activity and more specifically for dance! For more than ten years, I have been practicing breaking (or breakdancing), a physical discipline with an artistic and creative aspect. It was therefore quite natural that I turned to physiotherapy, which focuses on movements and the body in a similar way to dance. Thanks to my experience as a dancer combined with my clinical practice, I will make every effort to offer treatments adapted to each patient according to their needs and desires, based on the best scientific evidence available. Diplômé de l'UCLouvain, j'ai continué à me former dans le domaine du sport en réalisant le Certificat Inter-Universitaire en kinésithérapie sportive à l'UCL . Passionné par la kinésithérapie sportive, je suis différentes équipes de rugby depuis plus de 5 ans, que ce soit au niveau national ou international.

Je vous accompagne durant toute la durée de votre pathologie, quelle soit du cadre sportif ou non, en mettant un accent sur l'aspect fonctionnel de votre rééducation afin de vous rendre votre autonomie au plus vite.

Kinésithérapeute licenciée depuis presque 20 ans, je reviens en Belgique après plus de 15 ans au Canada. 

Forte d’un bagage mixte de formations et d’expériences, j’ai toujours eu à coeur le bien-être de mes patients. 

Spécialisée en thérapie manuelle et en pathologies sportives, j’ai essentiellement évolué dans le milieu de la prise en charge des problématiques neuro-musculo-squelletiques en clinique sportive. 

Outre la thérapie manuelle, j’inclus au besoin dans ma pratique des techniques comme le crochetage (fibrolyse diacutanée), le dry needling ou le Mulligan. 

Je me ferai un plaisir de vous accueillir tant en français qu’en anglais, dès à présent Chez Kio Medical Center à Uccle et bientôt à Belliard pour une prise en charge personnalisée. 

A graduate of the Haute École Ilya Prigogine, I acquired solid experience in physiotherapy during my academic career. I have worked in various fields, such as sport, psychiatry, neurology, as well as in the treatment of general pathologies frequently encountered by physiotherapists. My final thesis focused on injuries among CrossFit practitioners. Today, as a physiotherapist, I am proud to serve at the Care Happy Center and the Molière Hospital. My main goal is to continue to improve myself and expand my professional skills. This is why I am committed to further training in sports physiotherapy, manual therapy and acupuncture. My field of intervention includes not only sports-related pathologies, but also all other orthopedic, traumatic, post-operative conditions, and much more. I make it a point of honor to support and understand the specific needs of each of my patients. My approach to care is holistic, aiming to promote their general well-being while adapting to their individual situation. My goal as a physiotherapist is to provide quality care, based on the latest advances in the profession, and to offer comprehensive support to my patients to help them regain their health and mobility. Sien Peeters works as a physiotherapist at the "Centre Médical Jourdan" in Etterbeek. She graduated from KULeuven in June 2018 with a Master's degree in Rehabilitation Sciences and Kinesitherapy. Patients can contact her for all kinds of problems and injuries: musculoskeletal problems, sports injuries, jaw joint problems etc.
