Dr. Nina Perusko Matasic, pediatrician, received her degree in medicine in 1992 from the University of Zagreb, Croatia. She completed her further training in pediatrics in 1999 at the University Children's Hospital in Zagreb, where she gained experience in general pediatrics, with a special interest in allergology and pulmonary diseases.


She sub-specialized further in neonatology and worked for 10 years in neonatology and NICU at the University Maternity Hospital in Zagreb.

For the next 3 years, she gained a lot of experience in Ireland and Northern Ireland, UK, within the NHS.


She worked in Belgium from 2018, first for five years in AZ Oudenaarde, and then in ZOL, Genk and Maaseik.


Dr Perusko will be working at St Francis Hospital in Heusden-Zolder from August 2024.
