Dr Marie Hechtermans is a sports doctor. Her goal is to allow you to practice your discipline in a fulfilling way, while staying safe. She accompanies you on the curative plan, in the event of injuries, but also preventive, for the examinations of non-contraindication. In case of pre-existing pathology, she can advise you to choose a physical activity that would suit you best. She performs first-line ultrasound in the office. She has also completed additional training in underwater and hyperbaric medicine and is equipped to practice rest and stress ECGs, as well as spirometry. She works within the multidisciplinary teams of the Jourdan Medical Center and Uperform Etterbeek. She receives you in French, Dutch and English.

Doctor Guy Vandenhoven graduated from KULeuven. He is specialized in sports medicine, underwater & hyperbaric medicine. He has experience as university teaching professor, tutor of internship and scuba instructor. He receives you in his private practice in english, dutch, french and german.

After obtaining his medical degree in 2000 at the UCL, specialist Frédéric Borlée practiced at the CHU Charleroi for several years before starting his consultations at the Centre Paramédic Anderlues and at the BMC practice. He can help you to overcome a sports trauma (pubalgia, tendon and joint injuries) and give you advice that will help you to resume your sports activities in complete serenity.

Médecin généraliste diplômé à l'ULB en 2020, je me suis spécialisée en 2022 en médecine du sport. J'ai également une spécialisation en mésothérapie, celle-ci peut souvent être utilisée en complément d'autres thérapies comme la kinésithérapie et l'ostéopathie afin d'aider à la guérison. Médecin à l'écoute et passionné par le sport, nous discuterons ensemble des différentes options de traitement disponibles, suite à cela nous prendrons une décision commune pour garantir que votre traitement soit le plus efficace et adapté possible. Je consulte tous les mardis après-midi au centre paramédical K-therapy (14h00-18h00). Malheureusement, je ne réalise pas d'ECG ni les aptitudes sportives pour la PLONGEE.

I graduated in general medicine in 2011 at the UCL and have always been passionate about sports. I have been a sports doctor since 2020. I follow up amateur or more experienced sportsmen and women both on a curative and preventive level. Interested in women's health, I am trained at La Clinique du Coureur to follow up women runners in pre-post partum. On a technical level, I can help you with taping, kinesiotape and intra-articular infiltration. I consult at the K-Therapy Center in Uccle but also at the Training Plus Center in Walhain (Monday PM, www .trainingplus.be/, possibility to make an appointment on this site).
