This type of therapy is performed with five therapists during the consultation. However, you will be followed by one contact person, who will always remain the same. The other four practitioners follow the session, which is filmed live in another room. A telephone is present in the room in case the practitioners wish to have the therapist who is accompanying you one-on-one develop a particular point in more depth. All issues, from mild to severe, can be addressed in group brain therapy. This therapy offers many benefits to patients. It is a very supportive team effort, as there is more in five brains than in one. The therapists work between sessions, debrief each other, share their thoughts and propose action plans for the following sessions. The quality of the consultation can only be higher. The fact that the session is filmed is the only constraint, but the richness of the exchange is so important that we forget about this aspect. Be careful, this type of therapy is not a group therapy! It is an individual consultation with a team of therapists, but you are talking to one person.
