Black belt in judo, 3rd Dan. More than 10 years of high-level practice in this sport. I've discovered in sports physiotherapy a passion other than judo, and I'm fully committed to it.

Je suis une formation supplémentaire en Thérapie Manuelle, à l'ETMA, me permettant d'acquérir une connaissance plus poussée de mon métier.

Je détiens aussi un certificat en Drainage Lymphatique Manuel, suivant la méthode Leduc, vous offrant donc mes services.

Lors de mes études et après, j'ai eu différentes occasions de travailler à l'étranger ce qui m'a permis de développer mes performances de kinésithérapeute.

Au cours de mon parcours, j'ai eu l'occasion de me former en traumatologie & orthopédie, en pédiatrie, gériatrie, neurologie et en cabinet libéral.

Osteopath D.O. graduated from the ULB (first university teaching of Osteopathy in Belgium), Romain Derue has a very broad field of intervention. He mainly treats musculoskeletal and nervous disorders (lumbago, torticollis, sciatica, sprains, tendinitis) but also digestive, jaw and stress problems. His practice in the office is reassuring and can be adapted to everyone, whatever their profile, age or activity. Romain Derue can therefore treat athletes, pregnant women, adults and children.

Diplômé de l'Université Libre de Bruxelles, j’ai suivi un cursus complet de 6 ans en ostéopathie, comprenant un master et un master complémentaire, ainsi qu’un master en kinésithérapie dans la même faculté. Hello, I am a DO osteopath graduated in 2022 from the Free University of Brussels and osteopath of the federal Taekwondo team. I started studying the human body and care 13 years ago. I took my first steps in the field of health in midwifery (midwifery) for 3 years. It was a great experience, where I was able to support pregnancies, but also deliver newborns and follow their progress. 7 years ago, I reoriented myself to be able to investigate care through my hands. As an osteopath, I treat musculoskeletal and peripheral neurological disorders of mechanical origin. These mechanical problems have a cause! To find it, an initial discussion will allow me to know more about your pain (How did it appear? What are the characteristics of your pain?). We will take the time to explore your health and medical history. Following this, we will proceed to the physical, clinical and neurological examination supplemented by orthopedic tests in order to best identify the cause of the pain in an algo-mechanical logic. The succession of these stages will allow us to move on to osteopathic treatment and/or medical reorientation towards other specialties. If manipulation proves necessary, it will be carried out with your consent, in a safe manner and in a pain-free manner according to Dr. Robert Maigne.
