Hello, I am a DO osteopath graduated in 2022 from the Free University of Brussels and osteopath of the federal Taekwondo team. I started studying the human body and care 13 years ago. I took my first steps in the field of health in midwifery (midwifery) for 3 years. It was a great experience, where I was able to support pregnancies, but also deliver newborns and follow their progress. 7 years ago, I reoriented myself to be able to investigate care through my hands. Following this, we will proceed to the physical, clinical and neurological examination supplemented by orthopedic tests in order to best identify the cause of the pain in an algo-mechanical logic. The succession of these stages will allow us to move on to osteopathic treatment and/or medical reorientation towards other specialties. If manipulation proves necessary, it will be carried out with your consent, in a safe manner and in a pain-free manner according to Dr. Robert Maigne. Kenza Berkaine, Osteopath D.O., graduated from the Université Libre de Bruxelles after a training organized within the Faculty of Motor Sciences in partnership with the Faculty of Medicine. This medical, clinical and practical training allows me to understand my patients' ailments in a global way. In order to best adapt to the specific needs of each patient, I use muscular, articular, myofascial and/or visceral techniques. I have also trained in cupping, trigger point therapy, digipressure and Reiki energy treatments in order to add other tools to complement and/or adapt the proposed treatment. I am a member of the Professional Union of Osteopaths of Belgium, which guarantees a continuous training. I have always had a great interest in sports and horses. I am currently training in equine osteopathy. Graduated in 2016 in France, I worked for 6 years in the Nantes region. I then moved to Brussels in 2022 where I signed a contract. Graduated in 2019 from a master in physical therapy at the Haute Ecole Libre de Bruxelles, I immediately trained in sports physical therapy as well as in manual therapy (Kinesport, Kinesitherapy of the Sport Expert). I am also a physiotherapist for the soccer club Royal Racing Club Etterbeek. This has allowed me to deepen my knowledge and expertise on sports pathologies, in order to offer you an optimal treatment that will meet your different objectives.
