Located in Forest, on the border of Ixelles, St-Gilles and Uccle, Claire is oriented towards the care of musculoskeletal pain. She receives you for orthopedic treatments, post-operation, scoliosis, or for global muscular reinforcement in prevention of sports injuries. She is particularly interested in shoulder pain, low back pain and neck pain as well as issues related to chronic pain. Trained and certified in STOTT Pilates, she incorporates it into her treatments in order to help patients strengthen their muscles and develop their proprioception. Her goal is to bring people to know their body better and to use it without fear. She regularly trains and questions herself in order to provide her patients with treatments that are validated by the scientific community while being oriented by her own qualities as well as by the individuality of each patient. She transmits her knowledge to the patient and guides him/her in order to make him/her autonomous in his/her treatment and to keep the acquired knowledge beyond the consultation period.

I worked for 3 years in Portugal as a physiotherapist and I used that time to invest as much as I could in courses so that I could provide quality treatments to my patients. 

My main goal is to continue investing in gaining more and more knowledge so that I can apply it in my clinical practice. I'm a big fan of quality treatments and good follow-up with patients. That makes all the difference to the patient's progress.

I'm very involved in the musculoskeletal area and for this reason I treat pathologies such as back, shoulder, elbow, knee pain, I work a lot on post-operative rehabilitation and also with tendonitis, bursitis and calcifications.

I love doing treatments that involve acupuncture because I really like the quick and long-lasting results, and acupuncture allows me to do that. That's why I really enjoy combining my knowledge of physiotherapy with my knowledge of acupuncture (traditional Chinese medicine).

My work as a sports physiotherapist covers all the pathologies associated with sporting activities, with the aim of preventing and treating injuries to joints and muscles, as well as postoperative injuries. I have a wealth of experience working in sports clubs (football, boxing, triathlon, surfing, etc.) and I help my patients to get back into shape and improve their well-being, whether they are top-level sportsmen and women or amateurs. I work with people of all ages and rub shoulders with many professional and amateur sportspeople. My role is to help you get back into sport and competition.

Trained in muscular and physiological chains according to the Busquet method, my practice is based on touch and dialogue. It is aimed at adults, adolescents and children who have chronic pain, the cause of which is often unknown: neck pain, lower back pain, headaches, chronic fatigue, etc. Using a combined approach of words and touch, we will investigate to understand and resolve blockages in the body: touch to release body tensions, and dialogue to bring to light the words hidden by the ailments. At your own pace and with respect for everyone. Body work is global, from the feet to the head. My steps also led me to pediatrics. I offer care focused on the concepts of baby Busquet muscle chains, pediatric manual therapy, as well as free motor skills. The little one's sleep is also regularly at the heart of parents' concerns. Interested in this subject, I learned a lot through training and readings. For those who wish, the sessions will therefore be an opportunity to discuss caring support for the baby's sleep. The prices are agreed: the first session amounts to 70€ (assessment) and the following ones to 62€ for one hour.

Au cours de ma formation, j'ai eu l'opportunité de me spécialiser dans la rééducation du dos et de me forger une solide expérience dans la prise en charge de personnes en pré et post opératoire, en affections post traumatique, ainsi que de travailler avec des personnes souffrant d'affections respiratoires, circulatoires, rhumatismales ou neurologiques. Je m'appelle Alexandru Munteanu. J'ai un diplôme équivalent en kinésithérapie, étant diplômé de la faculté de kinésithérapie de "l'Université nationale d'éducation physique et du sport", Bucarest, avec le titre de Master en récupération et rééducation motrice et somato-fonctionnelle. Avec beaucoup de patience et avec les compétences professionnelles acquises, je suis toujours à l'écoute de mes patients et très impliqué dans l'aspect médical de mon métier. [Graduated from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB), I have the latest scientific knowledge in terms of revalidation and physiotherapeutic treatment. In this sense, I take the time to fully explain each pathology for the educational aspect, and I humanize my treatments by being close, listening, and available for each patient. I therefore attach great importance to the patient-therapist relationship. In parallel, I provide professional care based on current scientific knowledge.

After one and a half years of practice and home in Brussels, I had the chance to work one year in a multidisciplinary rehabilitation center in Paris. I am now working in the psychiatric department of the Cliniques de l'Europe in addition to my independent activity. I have an approach that focuses on the individual as a whole. I will be very happy to receive you for any type of pathology. Nevertheless, I am specialized in neurology, psycho-somatic physiotherapy and chronic pathologies. I also consult at home.
