Dr. Assaad Salamé is a pediatrician with 15 years of experience. He is a specialist in general pediatrics and pediatric gastroenterology. He graduated in medicine from the Université Libre de Bruxelles in 1999. He has worked in several institutions such as the HUDERF, the CHU Ambroise Paré in Mons, the Clinique de la Basilique (CHIREC) and in several private practices. With several years of experience and being a member of many associations such as BEPSGHAN (Belgian Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology) or GFHGNP (French-speaking group of pediatric hepato, gastroenterology and nutrition), Dr. Salamé will be pleased to welcome you in his practice in Waterloo.

My medical activity is focused on the treatment of patients with respiratory diseases (COPD, Emphysema, Asthma and Respiratory failure). I am particularly specialized in the treatment of sleep disorders (sleep apnea, restless legs syndrome, insomnia, parasomnia, etc.). I base my therapy on physical activity (revalidating physician specializing in respiratory rehabilitation) and certain connected medical devices (e.g. CPAP) both for my respiratory patients (COPD,...) and for my apneic and insomniac patients. I like to develop and propose a multidisciplinary care thanks to my network of therapists in the different structures and medical services in which I practice.

Graduated in Medicine, Surgery and Childbirth since 1979 in Zaire DRC and diploma recognized by equivalence in 1999 at the ULB. Dr. Makanda receives you in his medical center in Anderlecht. Dr. Tshitende Makanda receives you on Thursday afternoons, Fridays and weekends by appointment at his office. In addition, blood samples can be taken on site and by appointment as well as COVID-19 tests without appointment.

Je suis pneumologue et allergologue, installée depuis 2020 à la Clinique Notre Dame de Grace (CNDG) à Gosselies, et à partir de 01/2026 également à la Maison de santé de Thiméon.

Je peux vous recevoir pour tout bilan et/ou suivi pneumologique dans mes 2 cabinets, qui disposent du nécessaire pour la réalisation des EFR (épreuves fonctionnelles respiratoires). Je reçois les adultes et les enfants à partir de 6 ans.

Les bilans/suivis allergologiques peuvent se réaliser dans les 2 cabinets également, mais aucun test ne sera possible dans un premier temps à Thimeon. Les tests pourront être organisés à la CNDG.

>> Concernant les consultations à la CNDG : la prise de RDV se fait par téléphone au secrétariat de la clinique.

J'y reçois les lundis (matin+après-midi), mardis (matin+après-midi), et mercredis (matin uniquement).

>> Concernant les consultations à Thiméon (les vendredis, à partir du 09/01/2026) : la prise de RDV se réalise par internet (DoctorAnyTime) ou par téléphone.

I practice in general pulmonology with a focus on the management of chronic respiratory diseases and oncology. I am deeply invested in establishing quality relationships between caregiver and patient, as well as coaching patients to help them take control of their health and live as best as possible with their illness. At the same time, I devote part of my energy to teaching mindfulness meditation and kindness in the field of health, both to caregivers and patients.

Dr. Korn Dana specializes in pulmonology and somnology. Her consultations are dedicated to the assessment and management of respiratory pathologies (chronic cough, asthma, obstructive pulmonary disease...), as well as sleep disorders (snoring, sleep apnea, insomnia, restless legs syndrome, bruxism...). Realization of functional respiratory tests and polysomnographies at home or in hospital. Empathetic and a good listener, Dr. Korn will be happy to receive you at one of his workplaces.
