Emma Rebufello, osteopath D.O., graduated from the Université Libre de Bruxelles after obtaining a complementary master in osteopathy. The university training that I followed allows me to have a clinical and practical background adequate to the needs and the accompaniment of my patients. My practice is composed of muscular, articular, visceral and tissue techniques and is aimed at adults as well as pregnant women and children. I also trained in pediatrics during my last year of university following an internship at the maternity hospital in Ixelles. Passionné par le corps humain et par son fonctionnement depuis tout petit, j’ai décidé d’entreprendre des études de kinésithérapie à l’ISEK, Haute Ecole de kinésithérapie. Désireux d’aller toujours plus loin dans la compréhension du corps humain, j’ai décidé d’entamer des études d’Ostéopathie au Collège Belge d’Ostéopathie (CBO) en 2015 afin d’avoir une approche plus globale du patient tout en le conseillant. L’Ostéopathie peut se définir comme une médecine manuelle s’adressant aux troubles fonctionnels du corps humain. Elle repose sur l’utilisation du contact manuel pour le diagnostic et le traitement. Elle place l’accent sur l’intégrité structurelle et fonctionnelle du corps ainsi que sa capacité à s’auto-guérir.
