There is no pain whose cause is obvious and immediately attributable to a localized dysfunction. Often the origin of the pain is to be found in areas other than those affected. For example, a common backache may result from excessive fatigue in the foot or a malfunctioning jaw. Similarly, would you ever have imagined that overloading the intestines can induce headaches? Kenza Berkaine, Osteopath D.O., graduated from the Université Libre de Bruxelles after a training organized within the Faculty of Motor Sciences in partnership with the Faculty of Medicine. This medical, clinical and practical training allows me to understand my patients' ailments in a global way. In order to best adapt to the specific needs of each patient, I use muscular, articular, myofascial and/or visceral techniques. I have also trained in cupping, trigger point therapy, digipressure and Reiki energy treatments in order to add other tools to complement and/or adapt the proposed treatment. I am a member of the Professional Union of Osteopaths of Belgium, which guarantees a continuous training. I have always had a great interest in sports and horses. I am currently training in equine osteopathy. Emma Rebufello, osteopath D.O., graduated from the Université Libre de Bruxelles after obtaining a complementary master in osteopathy. The university training that I followed allows me to have a clinical and practical background adequate to the needs and the accompaniment of my patients. My practice is composed of muscular, articular, visceral and tissue techniques and is aimed at adults as well as pregnant women and children. I also trained in pediatrics during my last year of university following an internship at the maternity hospital in Ixelles. I am pleased to be able to receive you by appointment in 3 offices located in Brussels.

Physiotherapist graduated from the Haute École Ilya Prigogine in Brussels. Throughout my academic career, I have had the opportunity to explore various areas of physiotherapy, including pediatrics, geriatrics, neurology, musculoskeletal disorders, hand rehabilitation, abdominal rehabilitation, and many others. I am currently preparing for two training courses: one focusing on dys disorders in children and adolescents, and the other focused on hand rehabilitation. As a physiotherapist, I currently work in two centers: the Care Happy Center in Uccle and the June Medical Center in Tubize. My main goal as a professional is to provide high quality care and seek sustainable solutions for each patient, constantly keeping myself informed and adapting my approaches individually.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Physiotherapy and a Master’s degree from KU Leuven, where I specialize in Rehabilitation Science with a focus on Manual Therapy for Spinal Disorders and Chronic Pain Rehabilitation. I am currently a candidate for the European Diploma in Pain Physiotherapy.

Additionally, I am a research assistant at Pain in Motion and Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB), where I contribute to chronic pain research. I focus on the biopsychosocial factors and personalize my therapeutic plan depending on the needs of the patient.

Etant nageuses depuis de nombreuses années cela m’a conduite à devenir professeur pour enfants et adultes, enrichissant ainsi ma compréhension des mouvements et des mécanismes corporels essentiels à la rééducation.
