Je m'appelle Jordi, espagnol d'origine, mais depuis quelques années installé sur Bruxelles!

Depuis toujours lié au corps, en premier temps en tant que Préparateur Physique dans différents domaines, puis du côté des soins de santé avec une vision du "corps en mouvement" (on est fait pour bouger).

L'importance d'une bonne anamnèse, d'une bonne réflexion autour de la personne, des problèmes qui se présentent, et bien comprendre le tout pour une meilleure prise en charge fait partie des priorités dans la prise en charge, pas seulement soulager, sinon essayer de trouver le problème de base (d'origine) et d'essayer de l'enlever et/ou le corriger.

Hello, I am a DO osteopath graduated in 2022 from the Free University of Brussels and osteopath of the federal Taekwondo team. I started studying the human body and care 13 years ago. I took my first steps in the field of health in midwifery (midwifery) for 3 years. It was a great experience, where I was able to support pregnancies, but also deliver newborns and follow their progress. 7 years ago, I reoriented myself to be able to investigate care through my hands. As an osteopath, I treat musculoskeletal and peripheral neurological disorders of mechanical origin. These mechanical problems have a cause! To find it, an initial discussion will allow me to know more about your pain (How did it appear? What are the characteristics of your pain?). We will take the time to explore your health and medical history. Following this, we will proceed to the physical, clinical and neurological examination supplemented by orthopedic tests in order to best identify the cause of the pain in an algo-mechanical logic. The succession of these stages will allow us to move on to osteopathic treatment and/or medical reorientation towards other specialties. If manipulation proves necessary, it will be carried out with your consent, in a safe manner and in a pain-free manner according to Dr. Robert Maigne. With 9 years of practice in a medical center, I have enriched my practice with exchanges with my colleagues doctors, nurses, psychologists,... Through my various trainings, I have specialized in the treatment of joint, muscle and nerve pain (sciatica, cervicobrachialgia,...), pregnancy support and respiratory kinesiology for babies. I followed the 2 year certificate in manual therapy at UCL and other trainings (Trigger Points, Maitland, Stecco Fasciatherapy, Mulligan, neurodynamics,...) which give me many strings to my bow to help you with your back pain, neck, shoulder, knee, headaches, osteoarthritis,... Diplômé à l’ULB en 2019 et ayant un atrait pour le sport, j’ai directement suivi un master complémentaire en pathologie sportive que j’ai terminé en 2020. Par la suite j’ai également suivi une formation en kinésithérapie de la main. J’ai travaillé dans beaucoup de différents domaines pour aujourd’hui me consacrer pleinement à la kinésithérapie orthopédique, traumatologique et sportive. J’ai fait divers autres formations notamment sur la gestion de la douleur, le renforcement musculaire, l’arthrose, etc. Je prévois de continuer à me former régulièrement.
