Kathleen Gillain est ostéopathe D.O. depuis 2024. Elle a d'abord suivi une formation en kinésithérapie à l'école Parnasse ISEI, de 2015 à 2019, avant de se spécialiser en ostéopathie à la Belgian School of Osteopathy, où elle a étudié de 2019 à 2024. Pendant son parcours, Kathleen a rédigé un mémoire en kinésithérapie portant sur les étirements de l'épaule chez les sportifs, et un autre en ostéopathie, axé sur le traitement du nerf vague et son influence sur la fréquence cardiaque. Spécialisée en kinésithérapie maxillo-faciale, j’ai eu l’opportunité de me former auprès de Laurent Pitance et Eve Gérard aux Cliniques Universitaires Saint-Luc, ce qui m’a permis de développer une expertise dans la prise en charge des troubles temporo-mandibulaires. J'ai récemment complété mes connaissances en participant leur formation en kinésithérapie cervico-maxillo-faciale en février et mars 2025. Mon objectif est de fournir un suivi complet et adapté à chaque patient, tout en poursuivant des formations pour rester à jour et en apprendre davantage.

I have 5 years of experience as an osteopath in my own home (after a 5-year training at the IAO, completed in 2016) and 11 years as a physiotherapist in a medical home with a very diversified care and a sharp knowledge of orthopedic disorders, sharpened by a 5-year experience as an assistant and lecturer at the International Academy of Osteopathy (Gent). His approach is based on 3 pillars: Listening: I take the time to make a good history and clinical examination with each patient to make a diagnosis. Techniques : I provide several types of osteopathic techniques : mobilizations, myotensive techniques, manipulations, cranial or visceral techniques, inhibition, hooking... Time: The session lasts 60 minutes in order to ensure a qualitative care to each patient. I deeply love my job and am comfortable with all types of people.
