Dr. Thoreau is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in lower limb surgery. He graduated in orthopaedic surgery and traumatology at the UCL and then did a year of additional training in knee surgery at the Cliniques Universitaires St Luc in Brussels. He developed a particular interest in reconstructive and minimally invasive surgery as well as in accelerated recovery protocols. From a surgical point of view, he practises at the Notre Dame de Grâce clinic in Gosselies and at the Cliniques Universitaires Saint Luc in Brussels where he takes part in the activity of the knee and sports surgery department.
