I am a recognized clinical psychologist, trained in an integrative approach. This means that I use a multitude of therapeutic techniques, including cognitive behavioural therapy, systemic therapy, contextual therapy, body-oriented therapy and psychodynamic techniques. All of this serves to help you to better understand your past, to better deal with difficult feelings in the present and to build a rich and meaningful life.
I am also trained in EMDR, a technique specifically developed to integrate and process traumatic experiences.
During the corona-crisis, I work almost exclusively remote, for example through telephone, Whereby, Skype or Microsoft Teams. You can only schedule an in-person consultation if you are in a crisis and remote consultation is impossible for you. In addition, I am restricting my activities to urgent problems. Other applications will be postponed until the corona restrictions have been lifted.
I studied philosophy (BA) and psychology (MA) at the university of Louvain. Since then I have been working continuously on my knowledge and skills in coaching and therapy. Recently I followed courses in solution-oriented coaching, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and EMDR therapy. I am currently working on a postgraduate course in integrative therapy.
After experiences in statistical analysis and career counseling, I started as an independent coach and therapist in 2015. I have experience working with many different types of problems. I give individual coaching and therapy as well as workshops and seminars for groups.
